41 Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen
42 Emotionally Yours - The O'Jays
43 The Weight - The Band and the Staples Singers

I think you are confused about who performed this song.

Who are you, and no, I'm not at all confused, though apparently you are or have no appropriate words to voice subjective disagreement - Billyv

44 Path of Glory - Demons & Wizards

On every list I see the same situation - the most popular vs really the best. Hansi Kürsch isn't as popular as John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Ozzy, Axl Rose, etc., but he's one of the greatest singers of all time. Even if you have never heard of him, he is still great because being a great singer is an objective and not subjective feature. Only popularity is subjective but most of us know that most popular doesn't mean the best.

Old Blue Eyes. He died in 1998, but his last big hit was in 1980, long before most Top Tenners were even a gleam in their papa's eye. Probably 90 percent of TTT users have never even heard of him, and even those that have heard the name have never once heard the greatest musical phrasing by any vocalist of any era.
