Songs with the Worst Messages

Not every song has to have a positive message, but these songs send some of the most awful messages that are really tough to overlook.

The Top Ten

1 Stimulated - Tyga

As much as I despise I Might Go Lesbian even more, I had to give this the top spot for bragging about pedophilia. - NiktheWiz

2 Baby - Justin Bieber

This is what that stupid david bowie hater gets for liking this crap - VideoGamefan5

The message here is "I'm in love."
I don't get what's so wrong there. - isaaonrtdmtr

@NikTheWiz, The Troll Added Songs I Like Such As One By Metallica, And the David Bowie Blackstar Album, So I Added Songs He Likes - VideoGamefan5

3 I Might Go Lesbian - Manika

Way to offend gay people as a whole. - NiktheWiz

This is crap! You are born the way you are

This honestly shouod be back at number 2 where it belongs. It's message is that you can choose whatever sexuality you want. NO. You were born the way you are. Don't break the laws of nature. - Redrocm

4 Pretty Girls - Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea
5 Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae) - Silento

Does this song even have a message? - TID3S_Official

6 7 Years - Lukas Graham

Cause remember, underage marriage and taking drugs at 11 years old is cool! - Mrveteran

7 Expose Yourself to Kids - GG Allin

Name says it all, but it's way too obvious. - Redrocm

8 Loyal - Chris Brown

The irony of the song is too good. - Jackamalio

Chris Brown, of course women won't be loyal to you - you beat one up! - Entranced98

It stinks

9 Sweatshirt - Jacob Sartorius
10 Dear Future Husband - Meghan Trainor

The Contenders

11 Do They Know It's Christmas? - Band Aid

"Thank god it's them instead of you." - Guilt-tripping in a nutshell. - NiktheWiz

12 Bingo - Jacob Sartorius Bingo - Jacob Sartorius
13 Sue (Or in a Season of Crime) - David Bowie
14 Work from Home - Fifth Harmony

It's not necessarily the message, but what the song conveys that is truly disgusting. The amount of eye-rolling innuendos and sex references is not only cringeworthy and clearly pandering to teenage boys who think with their penises when deciding on their music, but rather creepy since these girls are barely past the age of consent not to mention not many of them are in their 20s yet. But I will say the message is reprehensible, telling all the teenage girls that you don't have to write your own music or work hard to be successful, but rather be a sellout to the mainstream and pander in the worst way. - Mrveteran

This song needs more work work work work work work work because it's about getting a guy fired from work work work work work work work so that the woman can have sex all night, which doesn't work work work work work work work in real life. - NiktheWiz

15 No Flex Zone - Rae Sremmurd
16 This Is How We Do - Katy Perry

I'll let this line speak for itself, "Yo, shoutout to all you kids buying bottle service with your rent money! Respect! " - NiktheWiz

17 Flatline - B.O.B

Utterly deplorable. Not only does it suggest that the earth is flat (which it ain't), but also claims that Jews rule the world and brings in Holocaust denial too. I have always had an inner resentment for conspiracy theories, as they are just as bad as the MSM in a lot of ways, including how they both lie and exaggerate to push whatever agenda they want to do, and this song is the epitome of that. Not only is it pushing utter nonsense, but it also is pushing it towards BOB's extremely impressionable fanbase of young people. Good for you! Christ, he is so dumb that even other musicians who believe such conspiracy theory nonsense (like Dave Mustaine or Varg Vikernes) would frown upon him in shame. - Mrveteran

This is even worse than Miracles by Insane Clown Posse. At least Miracles was trying to get people to appreciate what the world has to offer, despite falling flat with lines that challenge Science. This song, on the other hand, is shoving conspiracy theories into the listeners' faces, including denial of the Holocaust. - NiktheWiz

18 We Can't Stop - Miley Cyrus
19 Hit or Miss - Jacob Sartorius
20 Anaconda - Nicki Minaj

Big buns, F them skinny b's in the club, mhmm. Telling young people it's okay to be fake and plastic. And what's wrong with being skinny well being too skinny is kind of a problem. I'm not even that skinny but I'm not fat and I feel so offended I don't know why. Nicki is degrading women and telling them to get all these augmentations in order for them to feel "beautiful" And Nicki is one of the most ugliest celebrities I have ever seen. - TheLoudHouseSucks

I agree with everything you just said, although Nicki Minaj isn't necessarily ugly. I mean she looks okay in my personal opinion but she also looks very fake. - Anonymousxcxc

21 Coco - O.T. Genasis

This absolutely disgusts me - Hater

22 Stupid Hoe - Nicki Minaj

This is a VERY BAD MESSAGE. And song

This song repeats "stupid hoe" over and over again until you want to rip your ears off your head, And I'm guessing that you'd rather not have your child learn about whores until they're adults

23 Tis a Pity She Was a Whore - David Bowie
24 Lazarus - David Bowie

This song doesn't have a bad message!

25 Love Me - Lil Wayne

Nobody loves you, Lil Wayne. Not even me.

26 U.O.E.N.O. - Rocko
27 Young, Wild & Free - Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa
28 Want U Back - Cher Lloyd

Be utterly bitter over your exes, on the ground that you are a sociopathic fool who wants to stay in contact with them. Lovely. - Mrveteran

29 Highway to Hell - AC/DC
30 I Wish - Cher Lloyd
31 Alcohol - Millionaires
32 Birthday Song - 2 Chainz

So it's basically saying you should burry yourself in a strop club after you die.

33 Riders on the Storm - The Doors

"There's a killer on the road,
His brain is squirming like a toad"

34 Different for Girls - Dierks Bentley

Number 1 on rolling stones for no reason

41 Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
42 Echoes - Pink Floyd

No bad messages here, but the lyrics upon realising what they are about, are utterly daft at points in how hardly they try to be deep. - Mrveteran

Not a single Pink Floyd song has a bad Message - christangrant

43 Jailhouse Rock - Elvis Presley
44 One - Metallica

Yeah, because being anti-war is a really awful message! Not to mention how this song is far better musically and vocally than most of the garbage on here combined. - Mrveteran
