Giorgio Moroder is an Italian songwriter, record producer, singer and DJ. He's often credited with pioneering Italo disco and electronic dance music.
Irene Cara's "Flashdance... What a Feeling" and Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" earned him Academy Awards for Best Original Song.
He also composed the soundtrack for the film Midnight Express that won an Academy Award.
