Best Songs of All Time

121 The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars

This has been an anthem for many people! "Today I don't feel like doing anything, I just wanna lay in my bed. Don't feel like picking up the phone, so leave a message at the tone! "

This is one of his worse songs in my opinion. Where's Locked Out of Heaven or Treasure?

I think this is a really good song and I want to always have the song

My new alarm tone

122 My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion

An amazing song, singer and movie. Maybe the best ever made!

148! Are all people in this world dumb!
148! I still can't believe it, really this world has become so lame...
the best selling ballad by a female artist is 148!
Damn it! Still can't believe it.

123 Changes - 2Pac

Definitely my favourite song of all time. Yet I guess people who like this sort of music don't spend their time voting on these sites constantly

Tells a great story, about how we should all just get along. The lyricism of this song is insane! - roblist

A pristine example of the good soul Tupac shakur had, and a reminder that the world has forver lost an inspiration from the heart of the west coast.R.I. P

Although it is rap, it tells a great message and is written amazingly. Get this in the top 100!

124 Don't Cry - Guns 'N Roses

I will never stop cry

The best ballad ever

I just love this song!

125 Hysteria - Muse

Uprising at 126 and Hysteria at 129; to be honest Showbiz should be at number 1 and Micro Cuts at number 2 (both by Muse, the only band whose transcends transcends vocal description), but I'll vote for Hysteria because it's better than Uprising and *needs* to go up.

Best rock song I've ever heard

What about this song?

This is true mucic! Great riffs + Matts awesome vocals= u just gotta listen this all day. Muse is the best band on Earth. Other songs from Muse:

Knights of Cydodia
Unnatural Selection
Panic Station
Follow me
Supermassive black hole
Plug in baby
Time is runnig out

126 Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles

Well, the Beatles at number 3. Some of you hardcore Beatles fans might be furious at me for not putting "A Day in the Life" or "Let It Be" at number 1. Again, it's my opinion. Anyways, amazing message that is sent out in this song. This was one of the greatest Beatles songs ever made undoubtedly. The violins bring anticipation when they gradually get louder, and the vocals from the band when they sing the chorus bring delight to my ears. Truly a masterpiece.

Wait a second... This song was once NUMBER 3 on this list? It's been voted down to below PARTY ROCK ANTHEM to 117? How can this be? Is this what the world is coming to? - VaticanCameos

I've always loved the Beatles, and I'm twelve. Almost thirteen. and Eleanor Rigby is one of my favorites. It's beat is so cool.

As people said the Beatles are just above any competition or silly list. Too many of their songs can be on this lst.

BEEDLES I love you

127 Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - Elton John

Unbelievable. I get this far down the list to see the name Elton John.. I'm starting to see why some folks get upset that their favorite songs are ranked so low. in my humble opinion, this isn't even close to his best song, that honor goes easily to Funeral for a friend/Love lies bleeding, which many great musicians consider the best arranged song of all time. I concur. "Don't let the sun go down on me" is a very good song, but to see any Elton John song this low makes me sad for Bernie Taupin, the guy who co writes songs with John, who's genius is lost on so many. Take some time to listen to the albums "Madman across the water", "Captain Fantastic and the Brown dirt Cowboy", "Honkey Chateau" and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" to truly hear this great songwriting duo's best work. - Ned964

128 California Love - 2Pac V 4 Comments
129 1985 - Bowling for Soup

This song was my favorite song when I was young. Brings back so many memories and I still know all the lyrics

Love this song! Lyrics are cool and the vocals are phenomenal. I love how it pretty much sums of music in 1985.

130 I Will Not Bow - Breaking Benjamin

Gonna listen to it and give it a vote.

I will not break
I will take the moon away

131 Ruby Tuesday - The Rolling Stones

Great Song about Someone he loved a groupie!

132 Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden

Great lyrics and singing. It came around the same time as Kurt Cobain's death, so it meant something to a lot of people.

One of the best grunge songs! It used many metaphors for the social decay and dependencies.

Yeah, it certainly had an affect on me as well. Great song and album. I remember first hearing the album in a noisy coffee shop and as it played longer everyone just kind of shut up and listened to it. It never gets old. RIP Chris Cornell. - Ned964

The best song of it's time,Best vocals,Best guitar,Best Bass,Best Drums..From One of the best bands ever!

133 The House of the Rising Sun - The Animals

A great song that deserves to be on this list, and is better than half the other songs on it. One of my favorite songs that sends a shiver down my spine every time I listen to it.

hendrix did an awesome cover on this song. its great an instramental, but you can kind of feel the tone and feeling of this great song

Classic . . . epic . . . great guitar . . . I LOVE IT! Higher up, please.

This song should be at least in the top 10. This is the only English song to which I got obsessed. Mind you I'm a non native speaker.
Truly haunting! - GNR63

134 Starless - King Crimson

410? Really? This should be at least top 5! Such an influential 70's song, yet rated so low.

Propably the best song by the best band ever.

135 Big Poppa - The Notorious B.I.G.

One of the greatest rap songs of all time

If only his career was as big as his stomach

If biggie smalls sees this he's gonna pop a cap in someone's ass

136 Castles Made of Sand - Jimi Hendrix

How are songs by Jimi Hendrix at 208? Purple Haze at 171, Castles Made Of Sand at 208, All Around the Watchtower is too low too. But yet 30 Seconds to Mars is somehow better than him. Kids these days...

137 Jesus Alone - Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds
138 Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve

Just absolutely fantastic, incredible lyrics, uplifting mood, fits into so many situations, just fantastic

Oh My God. HOW is this song all the way down here?! It's one of my favourite songs, I just can't stop listening. I have no idea why this list is so crappy. WHERE is the Paramore?! Is it even possible not to like it?! Also, Smells Like Teen Spirit should totally be no.3, after Bittersweet Symphony and Misery Business. So a word of warning to the creator of this list: Change it or I will bite you. HARD.

One of best lyrics EVER! it's too emotional and realistic, really that song has to be in top ten =S!

Perhaps my most favourable tune in the world.

139 Demons - Imagine Dragons

This song is so beautiful and the lyrics are amazing. It's a song everyone can relate to; passionate and perfect

Imagine dragons is a great band, most of their songs are catchy like Demons, Radioactive, its time etc.

The clanking drum-clap, the burbling guitar, the sinister piano, and the burnt vocals come together so perfectly with the stone cold lyrics. - WonkeyDude98

This song will always hold a special place in my heart.. - MagmaFox

140 Another Brick In the Wall - Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd's greatest song, one of the greatest classic rock songs of all time. Can't believe it's not even on the list yet. TEACHER, LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE!

Love this! It's a great song and me and my friends always put it on while we're doing art in school for the laughs. Lighthearted and fun, unlike nowadays, where (nearly) every single song is about a relationship that failed with reversed speech/screeching electronics for an instrumental.

One of the greatest songs of all time, I'd say it challenges Bohemian Rhapsody

Floyd. I am not worthy. - Ned964
