South Park Coalition is a collective of Houston hip hop artists led by K-Rino, who created the group in 1986 when he wanted to unite the talent in his South Park neighborhood and the city of Houston. As a whole, they have released a total of over one hundred albums and two group studio albumsEric Kaiser (born 9 September 1970), better known by his stage name K-Rino, is an American rapper and record producer from Houston, Texas. He is a pioneer of the Southern hip hop scene, and has been rapping since 1983. K-Rino's first release was the single "rocking It" with his group Real Chill in 1986, and he founded the South Park Coalition collective that same year. K-Rino has spent his entire career as an independent artist, and has released all of his albums since 2004 on his label Black Book International.
Mr. CAP is an American rapper, born Cornelius A. Pratt from Houston, Texas,and member of the South Park Coalition, founded in 1986 by childhood friend K-Rino. Mr.CAP, a descendant of the late great blues legend Johnny "Guitar" Watson, and the popular soul/ funk group "The Greer Brothers." Mr.CAP gained notoriety for playing a part in shaping the Houston rap scene.
Born in Chicago Reginald Gilliand aka OG Point Blank moved to Houston, Texas as a teenager. It was there in his South Park neighborhood that he honed his incredible lyrical skill. In 1990 he became a member of the legendary SPC (South Park Coalition)
