Top Ten SpongeBob SquarePants Episodes You Either Love or Hate

This one's hilarious. Squidward is kind of a jerk, but gets his comeuppance, making the plot work. Honestly, I don't really get why people despise this one so much.

SpongeBob and Patrick wold not let squidward eat anything because of the magic conch shell.

Think about how many coincidences happened in this episode. First fake parents just so happened to show up to Patrick's house on the exact same day, Patrick's actual parents are coming over. Then they just so happen to say everything that his actual parents would say, at so many steps. On top of that, they just so happen to forget they don't have a son both simultaneously thinking that Patrick is their son, and Patrick just so happens to forget what his parents look like. I'm not trying to persuade you either way with this, I just wanted you to think about all of that, because you probably never thought about any of that before. Also, I love this episode.

It's a little cruel to SpongeBob, but I think that the jokes are still very good. The twist is kind of funny and creepy at the same time, but I like it. Not my favorite, but a solid entry in the series.

This was one of my favorite episodes and I don't know why people hate it

Not particularly special, but entertaining enough. Sort of a bonus because the pilot was a little too short.

The reason why some people hate this episode, it's because it had no dialoge, but I still liked it.

I hate this episode with a passion. It took away all likability of the characters, plus was very unfunny and had one little thing: THE BOOK isn't YELLOW!

This episode is god-awful. Patrick was disgusting to watch, and while Squidward was portrayed as the bad guy, its hard to root for SpongeBob.

I liked that Squidward finally got revenge, but I hated some of the hypocrites.

Stupid concept and not entertaining in the least. Not the absolute worst, though.

This episode is good

I enjoyed this episode although I didn't like how inconsiderate and overly harsh Spongebob was towards Gary. He did at least regret everything when Gary was injured in the race though.

This contains one of my ALL TIME favorite quotes. It's by Patrick Star. He says, "It's OK, Rocky. You go when you feel like it! " Also there's (in reference to Rocky), "He's got nerves of steal! " Also the twist with Rocky winning the race was GENIUS! Garythesnail is right, this is the GOOD version of A Pal for Gary.

This one's alright: SpongeBob's behavior is a little over the top, but the jokes are still solid. Patrick turns in a pretty good performance as well.

I love this one personally. It was kind of cruel, but at least SpongeBob learns a lesson in the end, unlike in some episodes (A Pal for Gary).

If this one is the "Camping Episode", then it absolutely doesn't belong here. It is one of the best episodes of the show I've ever seen: hilarious, creative story (for camping, at least), characters all in character... I love this one. One of my personal top ten episodes.

Some people don't like it due to Squidward's pain.

Pretty dumb, but I've seen worse.

Yuck. A pretty bad episode, as with most of the post-movie episodes.

I hated this episode due to how much of a greedy jerk Mr. Krabs was, as he fired Spongebob over a little nickel. Other than that the episode was flat out boring.

Garbage. Makes no sense. The only redeeming factor is the way it puts down unemployment (which has been kind of glorified in recent years with welfare and all).

We ALL know which side I'm on for this one.

I thought this one was funny, especially the part where Spongebob and Patrick blasted Patrick's song out loud to everyone in Bikini Bottom.

This episode is good.

I really hate it!

It was OK; a lot of better episodes were in season 3, but this one's still funny and worth watching every once in a while.

Honestly, I don't get the extreme hatred for this one. It isn't good, by any means, but I've seen SB and Patrick a lot worse than here ("Choir Boys", "Yours Mine and Mine"). I don't like it much, but its far from the monster it's made out to be.

This one's really funny. A classic, one that really isn't too debatable.
