Top Ten Greatest St. Louis Cardinals Players of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Stan Musial

Stan The Man. The 1950s was his decade through song, through his TV appearances, but it was his constant hitting that made him a legend. But to understand the greatness, we go back to 1952 and in an article from Life Magazine, legendary hit man Ty Cobb said "No man has ever been a perfect ball player. Stan Musial, however, is the closest to being perfect in the game today...He plays as hard when his club is away out in front of a game as he does when they're just a run or two behind"
No wonder why Brooklyn Dodgers fans once called Stan Musial, Stan The Man.
