The Top Ten

The state is home to several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Great Living Chola Temples and the Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram. The state's capital, Chennai, is a bustling city that is home to a thriving film industry and beautiful beaches.

Tamil Nadu is not a state, I would say it's a country because it has everything: all kinds of resources like education, space, sea, river, mountains, different climates, and the best people.

It is the state with numerous developments and infrastructures that help the youngsters to proceed with their life gratefully, when compared to all other states in India.

Tamil Nadu, located in southern India, is a state steeped in history and culture. Its capital, Chennai, is a bustling metropolis. Other cities like Madurai and Coimbatore offer a blend of tradition and modernity. The state is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in India, including the Western Ghats and the Munnar tea plantations. Kerala is also famous for its delicious cuisine, which is characterized by the use of coconut, spices, and seafood.

Sure, it's Kerala. The main thing is literacy. Kerala is well ahead of Tamil Nadu, which is still suffering from water and electricity scarcity - basic needs for human life nowadays. Also, Maharashtra is peaceful and lacks anti-terrorist activities. Industries are popping up, and North Indian laborers are coming to Kerala instead of going to the Gulf. These are facts, not myths. Although like every place in nature, Kerala is not perfect in every sense, it does have some weaknesses. But it is still better than others. Last but not the least, it is beautiful.

The state is famous for its delicious cuisine, which includes dishes such as butter chicken and tandoori chicken. The state's capital, Chandigarh, is a modern city that is known for its beautiful architecture and urban planning.

Punjab is obviously the best state in India. Home to the best Indian food and cultural places, the capital of Punjab, Chandigarh, is the fastest-growing city in India and Asia. It is also the cleanest city in South Asia. In the Sikh capital of the world, Amritsar, you will find the beautiful Golden Temple. Also, the Wagah Border (Amritsar-Lahore) is the only border in the world with parades and shows.

The Amritsar Airport, Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, is the fastest-growing airport in India and will very soon fly to London, Toronto, Istanbul, Melbourne, Paris, and many more destinations. In Jalandhar, you will find a beautiful ancient city with the best hospitals and schools, as well as a very distinctive shopping experience. The Punjab government is doing everything possible to improve the state, which is known as the food provider of India.

We were once the biggest empire in India and have a very unique history. We have given the world the 10 Sikh Gurus, many UNESCO heritage sites, and the greatest Asian kings. We were also once the wealthiest state in India. So, I believe that Punjab is the best Indian state.

The state's capital, Ahmedabad, is a bustling city that is home to several historic landmarks, including the Sabarmati Ashram, which was once home to Mahatma Gandhi.

Economically, culturally, socially, and politically, Gujarat is the most advanced. It promises whatever the seeker wishes for. Industrially, it's a master destination, and its people have proven their mettle. Perhaps what makes Gujarat stand out is its value system. When comparing Gujarat with Maharashtra, the above words stand true in this comparison as well. It has the longest coastline, the only and largest salt desert in the world, and is the only home of the Asiatic lion. It is also the home to the Aryans, the motherland of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, and the birthplace of the White Revolution in India. In the true sense, Gujarat is gold.

7 Jharkhand Jharkhand is a state that is known for its rich natural resources and beautiful landscapes. The state is home to several wildlife sanctuaries and national parks, including the Betla National Park and the Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary. The state's capital, Ranchi, is a beautiful city that is known for its natural beauty and vibrant culture.

Ever been to Jharkhand for school education? I was born in Jharkhand, but my parents are from Maharashtra. I completed my education up to the 2nd standard there, then moved to Varanasi, where I studied for the next five years. Afterwards, I moved to Maharashtra to complete my 10th standard. I then moved back to Jharkhand to prepare for my 11th and 12th grades as well as for medical entrance exams.

Among the three states where I have studied, I can frankly say that Jharkhand has the best education. Maharashtra, based on my experience, has the worst education among the three. Even though I attended the school ranked second in Maharashtra at that time, the education level was very poor. In that school, students learned English alphabets until the 2nd standard, something I had already learned in U.K.G. in Jharkhand, despite it not being one of the top schools there. While Maharashtra has many good colleges, its primary education level is poor.

8 West Bengal West Bengal is a state that is known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes. The state is home to several historic landmarks, including the Victoria Memorial and the Howrah Bridge. I live in Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal. This state is known for its arts, culture, and rich heritage. It is also recognized for its brotherhood more than any other states of India. I love Kolkata. I love Bengal.

Historically, India has gained world dominance primarily from its eastern part, referring to the Maurya and Gupta Empires based in Magadh and Patliputra. This region is a major source of India's food, rich human resources, and modern culture. In the coming decades, economic activity in India will focus on Eastern India, as this region needs development. Bihar and Bengal will share the responsibility of elevating India to a world power. Currently, Kolkata serves as Eastern India's main hub for various activities. In the coming decades, Eastern India, especially Bengal based on Kolkata, will become India's power hub, thanks to the region's finest people. Bengal deserves this due to the Bengali people's willingness to think about and sacrifice for India.

The state is home to several iconic landmarks, including the Taj Mahal and the Kumbh Mela. The state's capital, Lucknow, is a bustling city that is known for its beautiful architecture, delicious cuisine, and vibrant culture.

If we can remove corruption and put some efforts into controlling our population, then this state could be number one. It is often considered to be one of the most important states with respect to Indian politics, with 80 seats in the Lok Sabha. It is the fourth-largest Indian state by economy. But still, we can contribute a lot to improve the standard of this state. It's gifted with all natural resources, and we should not exploit them. We should stop polluting rivers.

I think Uttar Pradesh is the only state in India that has everything. So there is no need to specify what U.P has. It possesses those things which other states are trying to get. U.P is a state that has given a lot to the country, like the first and maximum number of Prime Ministers. Not only this, every essential and remarkable thing has been given by U.P. Even the name of India (Bharata) is based on the name of Bharat, born in Ayodhya (U.P). The major problem is with its government. If this problem gets resolved, then it will be the first in the country.

It is the first state to be 100% electrified. Haryana is simply a place of brave people. Most of the armed officers and soldiers come from our state. In some ways, you could say that Haryana is the backbone of our country.

We hope that Bihar will become number one very soon. The only improvements needed are in the water system for irrigation and in law and order. Otherwise, Bihar has different cultures, world-ranking universities, and the place of Buddha. Our loyal Chief Minister, Mr. Nitish Kumar, has devoted himself to Bihar.

One of the greatest emperors of all time - Ashoka! Aryabhatt - discovery of zero, and without zero, even Albert Einstein would be wiping his own behind! You have to vote for Bihar. The Ashoka Chakra is in the middle of the national flag of India! India's national emblem is because of Ashoka! Bihar is the best state in the world! People just don't know its importance!

Himachal is my birthplace. Women are safer here than in any other states in India. People are very innocent. A glaring example is that the Himachal Pradesh Police are at the number one spot for tackling criminal activities. The reason for this is that there are very few criminal activities. Moreover, there is no road rage problem. People come forward to help the needy or in times of unforeseen events. Though you may be charged more at some tourist places, it's not a problem. Everyone wants to earn something good from foreigners, but rest assured, it won't be over $1 or $2.

Manipur should be in the top 4, and the following points tell us why:

1. India has few internal airports to date, and Manipur is one of the few.
2. Not many 5-star hotels are known to exist in India. Again, Manipur boasts in this category by owning a grand 5-star hotel.
3. Considering the flora and fauna of a region, Manipur not only has 'one-of-its-kind' species but also a wide range of fresh water lakes and valleys. Examples include the Sangai deer and the Siroi lily.

All the above facts run parallel with the term the Jewel of India, as coined by the British.

The state's capital, Raipur, is a growing city that is known for its beautiful parks and vibrant markets.

If the state's businessmen and entrepreneurs seek markets beyond Indian territory, they would definitely be on the first page. The state has a geographical advantage, being on the safer side of the country, with no reported floods, major earthquakes, droughts, etc. Instead, it has always had an abundance of electricity, water, natural resources, and agriculture. The government's focus should be on creating Special Industrial/Economic Zones, Export houses, and promoting subsidies for sustainable manufacturing units, with a greater emphasis on the agricultural sector. Concurrently, they should develop skilled manpower to promote internal job creation and prevent brain drain to metro cities and other popular states. I think the launch and plans of AIIMS, IIM, IIT, and IIIT institutes in the state are major attempts to address the latter issue, but concrete steps need to be taken regarding the former, which constitutes the majority of the population in the state.
