Unfairly demonized when the fact is that they're not much different from that of wolves or foxes. I personally blame the irresponsible people who let their kids or pets enter an unsafe place more than anything else. If it weren't for coyotes, then most farmers would have a pest problem with rodents.
Mistaken as cowardly scavengers when they actually are brave when hunting their prey or feeding on a carcass.
They can rip an animal to shreds! Also they will attack prey much larger than them! Not so cowardly now huh! - MichaelAftonUTTP
There’s something about jackals: they have that mischievous and adventurous look to them, but yet I can’t take them seriously when looking at them! - Miauzer
They’re creepy. - Miauzer
Hawks are such awesome birds. I cannot believe that The Lion Guard's second season made one a villain. (Mpishi) I swear, The Lion King franchise is starting to get worse and worse with how it portrays wildlife.
They seem to be harmless lizards, so why would you see them as "evil"? Also, they're not skunks, so don't let the word fool you.
They seem to be getting a positive or heroic portrayal in fiction nowadays thanks to that god awful abomination of a fictional character in the form of Bunga from Disney's The Lion Guard (A character I hate so much), yet in reality, honey badgers are ferocious, fearless, attack other animals for no reason and may have been referred to as "the meanest animal in the world". While I have no dislike of the animal itself, you seriously don't want to mess with them.
