Top Ten Strongest Prince of Tennis Characters

Hi everyone, in this time I will give us all, the complete list of the strongest Prince of Tennis characters.

As we know, until now on, PoT already has a new second season and also it's OVA. So, the characters are improved.

Let's check this out!
The Top Ten
1 Echizen Ryoga

Based on my perspective, damn! He is strong! His techniques are way better and faster than anyone I've seen among all character POT. He can defeat Ryoma in anytime but since Ryoma is the protagonist, I don't think they will make Ryoga win any soon. Oh well~

For such a young age he already competing with the powerful players way older than him and his stamina is high for his height it takes twice as energy to move around. He also gets stronger as the game progress and manage to overcome obstacles.

I think Echizen Ryoga could in fact be # 1,2 or 3 or something of that matter, since if you look one thenewprinceoftennis.wikia and search 'Echizen Ryoga' under the U-17 stats he has unknown statistics. Almost every strong character (ex. Byodouin, Oni) has unknown statistics. And plus Echizen Ryoga could easily return Byodouin's glowing shot, while during Byodouin's encounter with Oni Oni was barely able to return the ball. This is just my opinion.

Ryoga is stronger than Ryoma (although we doesn't know when he play in a real match). However he join the U-17 starter player without took a Training in a Training Camp.

2 Yukimura Seiichi

Along the episode we realized that he is fighting in the match along with his illness (not completely cured) He fight Echizen 3 weeks after his surgery. Even he is great enough without his Yips (he beat sanada when he break the yips). He keeps improving as well until the last episode. I can't wait for him to show more of his power and skill and fully recovered. Do rematch with echizen and tezuka

It's a bit disappointing that the anime doesn't much focus on Yukimura Seiichi. I was just hoping that there was a match between him and Tezuka Kunimitsu, Shiraishi kuranosuke OR Fuji Syusuke in the ANIME...

He have the insane skills. I think he is out the league. That ability more to illusion and mental crush. I don't think he have good tecnical skills in tennis but I adore him

He can beat others being in his base form only.

3 Shuji Tanegashima

His ability is to see trough the spin of ball. And can negate all the special shots. Hmm, so, who can won against Shu? (except with fast play or ortodhox method)

I don't think orthodox method can beat him. Because he won against sanada the orthodox method. But the fast play maybe he can loose

He is simply awesome.

4 Oni Juujiroh

I don't think oni is the strongest player. Oni have said that " he is the one that I could't beat ". That guy is Shuji Tanegashima.

Even Byodoin can't took a Win match against Oni. He's also train Tokugawa to become the Strongest & Best Tennis Player (from this, we can called that Oni is more like a Coach)

5 Echizen Ryoma

Ryoma should definitely be an placed as number 1, he's younger than everyone else that ever appeared in the show and he's better than most of the very good players. He showed what he can do in matches like against Akutsu, he's able to turn the match around in a pinch and even if he loses, he strikes back 100x better. Once he reaches 14 and 15 his skill at that age will be much better than the skill that players such as Tezuka and Yukimura had when they were that age. He will keep getting better!

Because he is the main protagonist and at the end he will be at the top plus he is ingenious and manages to analyze his opponents well.

He's the youngest of the lot yet he is equal if not better than all the great players in the series. His evolution throughout the series sets him up to be the number 1 easily. His innate tennis ability and sense is whats sets him apart from the others. For a 12yr old to play equally to high school pros is just magnificent. His growth rate will make him thrice the player that big guns like Yukimura is.

Echizen, at an early age manage to defeat known players that are way ahead of him. He is still improving and gettong strong. I think soon he'll snatch the top player xD

6 Houou Byodoin

Byodoin have the strong body & shot like Oni Juujiroh. But he ever won against Oni.

7 Tezuka Kunimitsu

He's super strong for a captain. Even Ryoma have some moments that he can't barely defeat Tezuka and seems frustrated. My man and my 1st love on POT. It breaks my heart his seniors hit the rackets on his shoulder TT__TT

His playing style and technique is non-questionable already and he has the most potential out of the characters in the current story arc to be the strongest in the future. I can see where the writer and creator is taking this character.

On the side note, I want another match with him against Ryoma and Byodoin. This will only show the big gap in their skills knowing Tezuka is currently under the German team and is being mentored by Volk.

Tezuka has lots of abilities. Namely Tezuka Zone, Zero-Shiki Drop Shot, Zero-Shiki Serve, Tezuka Phantom. Not to mention he has unlocked all special abilities like "Muga No Kyouchi", "Pinnacle of Hard Work", "Pinnacle of Perfection", and the "Pinnacle of Perfection". No one has ever done that.

The captain and one of many people that Echizen looks up to not because he's a senpai but because of strength.

8 Fuji Syusuke

The angel's man! He's too nice though haha I love him so much! T__T
It breaks my heart when I saw him crying when Tezuka beats him on the match. He's actually very strong in POT and true enemy for Tezuka :)

He's calm and cool and can handle tough situations even when his eyes are closed. When his eyes open you know it's about to get serious. He's so cool and yet scary because of how strong he is.

Fuji is a Prodigy player. He have many special shot (hissatsu technique) that can return a ball, so the rival can't return it.

I think he always number 2 sengoku after captain, he get strong when he get serious, and so far he just lost 2 match

9 Kazuya Tokugawa

He is a strong player in any aspects and also his desire. He aiming to become the Best Player in Japan, so he took a match against Byodoin. In the anime, he has the ability to shot with Ten balls, and also hi Aurora Serve

10 Duke Watanabe

Duke doesn't has special abilities like Tokugawa's Black Hole or Byodoin's Destruction. But he's an incredible Muscular Mass for a High Schooler (even more than Kawamura and Gin together) and an incredible power that could destroy anyone who faces him, maybe the only player in Japan who can face him in power is Byodoin, if we talk about Power and Muscules he could be the number 1 in Japan

The Contenders
11 Atobe Keigo

He's the best. And I think the greatest thing about Atobe is that, unlike most other strong players, we haven't seen the limits of his potential. Whether it's Tezuka or Sanada, we've seen them get hurt and injured and limit their own progress because of it. Atobe, on the other hand, is willing to go to any lengths to win, and his body is able to keep up with him. Also, I'm an Atobe fangirl, so ><

12 Sanada Genichirou

If I'm in POT, this man would be my guy. definitely. No hesitated. (my type of guy) He's too strong and it's kind of weird since how can Ryoma defeated him since he's way too powerful. Oh well, Ryoma is the main character and I can't said much. (geram sial) perhaps he's personality make me fall in love with him though. bye assalamualaikum.

13 Shiraishi Kuranosuke

Shiraisi's play is using orthodox method in any aspects. That mean he use a little energy and time and doesn't any unuseful movement. So, I think he can play Tennis as long as possible, because his Stamina is saved. So this, I put him in the no #9, before Ryoma
In many matches before, he plays using the Gold Arm-coated that load in his left arm.
What if he play with that item released?

14 Akutsu Jin

Akutsu doesn't like tennis or practice it, but with his innate talent makes a-once-in-a-decade-prodigy. Just like Byodoin said, in a few years if he continuos playing tennis he 'll become the number 1 in Japan

15 Kintaro Toyama

If this dude is able to tie with Ryoma in a 1 point match he deserves to be one under Ryoma, or at least closer to him. He's only 1 year older but that's one more year he could've been practicing longer than Ryoma which is why I'm not placing him higher than Ryoma. I'm not saying age matters but in this anime, I'd say it does matter. Kintaro is has so much energy and he's incredibly agile, even more so than Eiji, he also has really good eyesight and is able to track Ryoma's balls so matter the speed and from that one point match, we see Ryoma putting a lot of force into the ball which means it's super fast.

16 Echizen Nanjirou

Too strong to define his strength.

17 Akaya Kirihara

Why no one vote him? I think he's strong, and was even named as the Junior Ace of Rikkaidai.

18 Tachibana Kippei
19 Takeshi Momoshiro
20 Niou Masaharu
21 Lu Xia
22 Sengoku Kiyosumi

He,like Tanegashima, can see trough ball's spin and where will bounce and that makes it easy to him return any shot in another direction where his oponent can't reactionate. If whe talk about natural skills he can be one of the strongest players in the country at same level of Sanada, Atobe,Tezuka,Fuji,Ryoma

23 Bunta Marui

Marui is one of the best players of Rikkai basicly because of his incredible talent in volleys like Tsunawatari, between better is his rival Marui grows as a tennis player like when he created Wonder Castle, only a few players can beat him

24 Nanjiro "Samurai" Echizen
25 Xiu Ling
