Ranked! Sub Shops

Okay I have not had every single sub shop exactly, but i'm only rating from the places I have tried over the years. If I have some unnoticeable omissions I apologize its just I never really saw one near my area. Lately though you put in the ''I'm Sub guy!'' lately spreading around my taste buds to new things. With that said here are places that craft sub sandwiches.

Arby’s

I’m not sure if there known for the subs more less having the best side or their classic roast eff, but I’d say they qualify in making small, but just right into the stomach sub. For each of these entries I will cover one signature sub that really hit me strong, and to me the Loaded Italians has a great amount of flavor like none of the others had me going ‘‘wow!’’ the small amount of yellow peppers, and whatever else added in makes it perfect even though it’s a high price I say it is worth the cost of two.

Blimpie

Not sure if i’d say there ’’america’s Sub Shop’’ yet they at least have some creative catering tastes such as having quite the quantity of subs packed (kinda like what White Castle does with their cases). Breads a bit hard for me, and while there was a flatbread option I just decided to keep it the way it was plus having it be Turkey and Provolone. Sub was alright, but not what the slogan implied in my viewpoint.

Capriotti

Very many years ago I tried a place called Capriotti’s both places are now no longer in business but to say the least I can see why. Its located near other various both in the east and west coast regions. Its rare to find, but the one I went to back than was not all that, and for the longest time I could remember what it was I got, but I don’t recall that sandwich really wowing me much.

Charley's Grilled Subs

Going to Charley took a bit of ways, but was it worth the wait? I’d say yes the sub was solid, and the gourmet fries were surprisingly good as well. They even have a blueberry lemonade something I fought was not possible to be made, but this would be the only place if you wanted to try something like that. The Chicken California is a very good original sub I must say as well. Another middle of the road, but pretty decently valued place.

DiBella's

DiBella’s is only located in some north eastern states of the United States. Luckily for me there is one near me, but it takes a little long to get to. There is nothing that beats the thick and long Godfather sandwich is unreal breading, and the taste of the whole filling is impressive.

Firehouse Subs

Fireman opened up a sub shop you don’t say? This implies they offer hot made subs which sounds like a good alternative already. Unfortunately the bread ain’t nearly all that as the cover of it seems to be made out. I got the Firehouse Meatball, and that was good at the very least I could say. Not sure if I’d get these guys that much sooner.

Jersey Mike's

I have seen many ads of Jersey Mike’s for the longest time I had been waiting to try them out for quite some time, and honestly its probably the healthiest sub I have ever had. I believe it was The Number Four I tried, and it was solid not my favorite by any means, but if you're looking for a very good alternative I say go for Jersey Mike’s for a change.

Jimmy John's

Okay, now we get into a sub shop I just despise strictly for the service portions than it is about the sub itself. Not every local place is like the one I went to, but blasting loud music while taking my order is absolutely absurd I can’t stand that. They made mostly Gourmet subs, and you have a preference of hot or cold subs I went with the slim Ham and Cheese, and its okay I guess probably could of went with something like the Turkey Tom, but with just frustrating service kinda wrecked it mostly for me personally thus I have not gone back to it.

Penn Station East Coast

Luckily right after Jersey Mike’s I ended up trying Penn Station that very next week, and it was just slightly better to me in terms of the flavoring, and how much they got as a whole. Well expect for limited drinks where you get squeezed up lemonade, but when I get subs mostly even a side just go with fries. We see that try it out, and its fairly good I gotta say. Sub of choice was the Philly Cheesesteak. Pretty tasty, but the bun to me was a little bit of a letdown otherwise very overlooked place to go to that would be a high recommendation for sure.

Potbelly

When I think of Chicago styles Potbelly I think of very appetizing subs to boot. Soft, but well done bread with a very ‘’Potbelly’’ styled sub to add to things. I gotta say the flavor to these are pretty good, and better than half of the others I have had kinda in the middle, but a very good middle of the road choice I don’t oftenly get. The signature I tried out that tasted good was the Pizza sandwich because well they have their own too so going with that I was surprised it was crafted, and tasted good on that type of bun.

Quiznos

Yeah I gotta be honest back in the early 2010’s I wanna say was the late time I ever got anything outta Quiznos. It was a commercial failure, it even made on reference in the movie Easy A kinda hooked me into this. I mean granted at least the names sound good, but I fought once I got the Traditional it was just plain average in comparison to the others.

Subway

Well one thing that goes against it you know that 5 dollar guy scandal that happened feels like ages ago. Next I see more Subway shop than I do McDonald's these days. I mean i’m not gonna lie the diversity of subs they got our endless. If I had a preference of what the best out of all that I have tried I’d say go with the Steak and Cheese that is unbelievable. Other than that little backlash Subway definitely lives up to its name for sure.

Tubby's

Unfortunately it is only in the state of Michigan but this place is honestly great. I have went many times, and the variety is fairly decent I gotta say. The bread may not be better than others, but to me that Cheeseburger Italiano is so unique that it is one of the best crafted subs I have ever had. If there is a place on the top of sub shops this is that one, and sadly its only in this state I reside in if only others would know. The one con I have to say is the price is a bit high for one sub, but still worth it I would say.

Now let's calculate how we have these according to the overall placements now some of these I may not agree with how I did them, but hopefully they represent close enough. I’m htoutlaws happy eating for all I guess right?
