Top Ten Most Successful Game and TV Franchises People Hate

I am not lieing. Most of these are really and truly true.
The Top Ten
1 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The show follows a studious unicorn (later an alicorn) pony named Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rarity (Tabitha ...read more.

Oh mother of biscuits, this show...this show right here has history. This show was so popular, even grown men started liking it. It was good that some people despised it. Haters hated on bronies by telling them to either grow up or start saying death threats. I'm not joking. Not even a bit. People really and I mean REALLY hate bronies. One guy was fired from his own job for being a brony. A little kid got teased and beat up because he was a brony. What's next the show will bring is a dead mystery.

I don't get the hate OR love for this show. When I watched it on Netflix, I found it 100% average. It's not the great show that's Liv and Maddie, but it's not half as bad as Sanjay and Craig either. It's average. I think there should be a list of "Most average T.V. shows" and put this on it.

I don't get why this show is so popular.

2 Spongebob Squarepants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

This show officially died and went to hell in 2006, the same year I turned 12. Many other awful things have been happening to me since then too. And Season 5 gave us the WORST episode EVER MADE: The Battle of Bikini Bottom. I HATE THAT EPISODE SO MUCH! How ANYONE could like it is ABSOLUTELY beyond me. I'm neutral or mixed on a lot of post-movie episodes that people like or hate, like for example I'm neutral on Atlantis SquarePants. I don't get why more people hate that one than The Battle of Bikini Bottom. I REALLY DON'T. At least Atlantis SquarePants wasn't 100% gross. The Battle of Bikini Bottom makes A Pal for Gary look like Band Geeks. PERIOD. I cannot stress that enough.

Okay, I like the show, but I can see why people hate the show. Seasons 1-3 were amazing, but season 5-8 were terrible. I mean, anybody who has seen A Pal For Gary, Lost In Bikini Bottom, Stuck In The Wringer, One Coarse Meal, Snacks, Demolition Doofus, Squid's Visit, Truth Or Square, Boating Buddies, Squidwood, or Your Mine And Mine HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH REASONS TO WANT TO BURN AND THEN BURRY THIS SOW!

However, I like this show. Its given us Band Geeks, The Camping Episode, and Sand Castles in the Sand. I totally understand why people hate the show, and at points (especially during most of season 8) I hate it too. But there are good episodes though. And the show is getting a bit better. I honestly thought season 4 was good (minus the numerous screw ups), and some of the most solid episodes (have you seen this snail, friends or foes, Dunces and Dragons, Enemy-In-Law,Patrick-Smart Pants, Once Bitten) came from this season. If you look at it, seasons 1,2 and 3 were amazing, and ...more

Now SpongeBob started off on a very good run. The first 3 seasons and the movie became successful. Then when the forth season came, then people started hating SpongeBob for good reasons. Every episode after season 4 contains Squidward torture porns, gross out, suicide jokes and so on.

I love SpongeBob's first three seasons, the first movie, the earliest episodes of season four, and the second movie. So basically 1999-2005, 2015. If you don't know the reasons for why people dislike the newer seasons, you're better off avoiding the topic all together.

3 Sonic Boom Sonic Boom is a computer-animated television series, produced by Sega of America, Inc. and Technicolor Animation Productions in collaboration with Lagardère Thématiques and Jeunesse TV, respectively for Cartoon Network, Canal J, and Gulli.

No not the games. It's the T.V. show and the comics that made the spin-off so successful. Sonic fans hated Sonic Boom because of the Wii U version and the redesigns. The T.V. show became so popular that they decided to make Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice that will be coming soon in fall.

I saw it, and it was horrible. I looked on the " Active channel ( on Directv ) and it was number three!

I've never heard of either the show or the games.

4 Call of Duty

People don't hate the series because the games are bad (except ghosts, that one really was bad). People hate the games because they're popular, and they think they're cool for spouting the same unoriginal hate comments over and over again.

This is a series I don't and never will care about. How this series became so popular is beyond me. Seriously, IT'S THE SAME GAMES ONLY WITH DIFFERENT WEAPONS AND TITLES!

People just love to hate on this game because its popular.

The only different game is Advance Warfare

5 Teen Titans Go

I haven't seen this but I know I've read reviews talking about it being awful. I don't think I wanna see it. Like for example I remember reading one review about there being a pile of snot shown. GROSS. I don't get why shows like this even EXIST, let alone get liked.

I HATE Teen Titans Go with a burning passion. To be honest I haven't seen the original with the exception of the movie but...how is a show so bad became so popular. I will never understand that.

This is always on Cartoon Network.

6 Pac-Man & The Ghostly Adventure

I've never seen it. But I just wanna know, whose idea was it to turn a well-known and beloved video game into a T.V. show?

The show actually isn't that bad, but the entire concept is just dumb.

Pac-Man is awesome and that why they given his own show

7 Five Nights at Freddy's

I don't hate it I'm just sick of hearing about it. It's an over-hyped game.

Sick of idiots fighting over robot genitalia

This game series is so overrated!

Another one I've never heard of.

8 Family Guy Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter (Fat, Idiotic Dad) and Lois (Nagging Bitchy Wife), their children Meg (Socially Awkward Daughter) Chris (Fat, Idiotic Son), and Stewie (Sociopathic and Genuine Infant); and lastly Brian (Anthromorphic Pet Dog). The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often American culture. ...read more.

Seriously I watched every single episode of this show and I didn't crack a smile once. I don't even think they're trying. They just ripoff everything. And what's worse is the show's getting progressively more and more grotesque and it just won't end.

Yeah Family Guy. "That" show. The series was cancelled twice but it came back because it was so funny. As much as I kinda like the show, there are episodes I truly despise. And you might know the ones.

I hate this show for various reasons, and I haven't even watched it. It's one of the most idiotic and inappropriate shows ever.

I hate this show so much. Why is it so famous?!?

9 Bleach Bleach is a Japanese anime series based on Tite Kubo's manga of the same name. Bleach adapts the first 54 volumes of Tite Kubo's manga series of the same name. In addition, 4 anime-original arcs were broadcast in-between and during the adaptations of original arcs of the manga.

Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student with the ability to see ghosts. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the characters. As events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death. ...read more.

Can I tell you a secret? I hate Bleach. It's boring, the pacing is slow at times, and the fight scenes drag on forever. So why is this so popular? It's because of the also draging on manga. Which never ends.

This is another show I haven't seen.

10 Dynasty Warriors

While it's still kinda good I guess, the series started to suck because it's become like Call of Duty, same old games only with new added stuff.

I've never heard of it.

The Contenders
11 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Shaft and Aniplex, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, written by Gen Urobuchi, music by Yuki Kajiura, opening sang by ClariS, ending by Kalafina (sometimes by the seiyuus) and original characters by Ume Aoki.

The first three seasons of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha > this overrated and pretentious trash

12 Star Wars Rebels Star Wars Rebels is an American 3D CGI animated television series produced by Lucasfilm Animation. Set fourteen years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and five years before Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Rebels takes place during an era when the Galactic Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy.

What. This is a good series

13 Pokemon

Poke man is decent

14 Peppa Pig Peppa Pig is a British preschool animated television series directed and produced by Astley Baker Davies in association with Entertainment One, which originally aired on 31 May 2004. It went on a hiatus for just over two years before re-premiering on 14 February 2015.
15 Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)

No offense to fans. It is a good show but I hate how many people think is the best show ever. Bull! The second half of the show disappointed me a lot and the final episode could have been set for the next season. It seemed pretty pointless to me. The arcs suck also. 7 episodes for one fight. Damn this is worst than one piece.

16 Ice Age
17 Voltron
18 The Dark Knight
19 Sword Art Online Sword Art Online is a series of Japanese light novels written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by abec.
