Top Ten Super Bowl Contenders Going into the 2022-23 Season

The NFL season is almost upon us. Let’s rank the contenders.
The Top Ten
1 Bills The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area that competes in the National Football League. Buffalo Bills had the longest playoff drought of any team which came to an end in 2017.

This feels like the season everything comes together for the Bills. Allen is considered a "Vet" and will hopefully commit fewer turnovers. Adding Von Miller bolstered the already fantastic defense. If they don't win it this year, their timetable could be closing due to the aging defense and Stefon Diggs.

2 Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football franchise based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League as a member team of the National Football Conference South division.

This is their last year to win a chip. Brady has made it clear he will retire after this season. The Bucs have a shot to win their 2nd in 3 years.

3 Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

Mahomes lost his biggest weapon this off-season which is the only reason the Chiefs aren't 1. I don't expect the Chiefs to fall off at all and they should be competitive throughout the season.

4 Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

The reigning champs come in at 4 due to their multitude of aging players and their offseason losses. OBJ should be replaced with Robinson and having Akers back is huge. The Rams are still a great team.

5 Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals are a professional American football franchise based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bengals currently compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference North division.

After their magical playoff run the Bengals come in at 5. If Burrow can replicate his postseason from last year the Bengals should be good to go.

6 Broncos The Denver Broncos are an American football team based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

The Broncos are by far the most improved team this offseason with trading for Russ. The Broncos look to drastically improve from their mediocre 2021 campaign.

7 Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

Lamar and the Ravens will finally be healthy and that should result in a playoff berth. If Lamar plays like 2020 Lamar, and that's a big IF, the Ravens have a Super Bowl in their future.

8 Chargers The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in Los Angeles. The Chargers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

The Chargers gained many quality players this off-season and should make the playoffs for the first time in Justin Herbert's young career.

9 Vikings The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season.

The Vikes are my sleeper team for this season. Yeah have an amazing trio of Kirk, JJ, and Cook. I really think the Vikes will win the division and maybe even the conference.

10 Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.
The Contenders
11 Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.
12 Colts The Indianapolis Colts are an American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.
