Chris Benoit should be recognized in the hall of fame based on his abilities and accomplishments in the ring. Not his personal life. Their are many other wrestling stars both alive and past on that had let say their issues that are in or are being considered for the hall of fame. This unfortunately was highly publicized but who are we to judge. The wrestling industry has never been easy. And in the last 3 to 4 decades has changed completely. I've watched it on television for the lat 40 years. Also I believe it would restore dignity and provide closure to the Benoit family. Whom I'm sure like any parent would like to see their sons name recognized for all those years of sacrice and hard work. His memory lifted over those terrible events that happened all those years ago. Also that his DVD of hard knocks be available again. This would also bring dignity an honor back to the WWE. This is what is right. May not always be looked at by all that way. But it's again the right thing to do. ...more
