Most Surprising NFL Teams of 2017 After Week 12

Well It's Thanksgiving week and NFL week 12 so let's see who surprised us the most while everyone was busy eating Turkey and cranberry sauce with their families and then jumping into Christmas. Without further ado here's the Week 12 addition!
The Top Ten
1 Los Angeles Chargers

LA just knocked the stuffing out of Dallas. With The Chiefs train being derailed at the moment could we see them potentially take over the drivers seat down the stretch? They have another matchup with Oakland (who is also in the AFC West discussion still) and Kansas City (who apparently doesn't want to win the division at the moment) and a game against a feisty Washington team.

The Bolts have a golden opportunity against Kansas City to prove themselves

2 Kansas City Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

I honestly almost put them at #1. Anyways Congrats Kansas City! You managed to take a 5-0 start and a good division lead and burn it all up by going 1-5. Alex Smith no longer looks like an MVP candidate because he realized that he's Alex Smith. Remember Kareem Hunt anyone? They look like the half dead corpses of the team that we saw beat New England and Philadelphia. Safe to say that they would probably lose those games in a rematch now. Are they trying to give up the division?

Not really surprised. This is normal Chiefs season. Andy Reid once again comes up short

3 Los Angeles Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Last week they lost to the Vikings and I thought they would be in trouble because I thought they would lose to the Saints as well. But the Rams have proved me wrong. An impressive and important win over New Orleans puts an end to their winning streak. The game against Philadelphia is going to be fun. With Seattle and Philadelphia coming up they still have some work to do before I buy into them.

4 Carolina Panthers The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that competes in the National Football League.

As of recently the Panthers have kinda fell below my radar. But now they find themselves in my radar and tied with the Saints for first place in the division. They have notable games against the Saints Vikings and Falcons coming up. If they can win just 1 of those games they will boost their playoff chances

I predicted that they would miss the playoffs but now they look to be proving me wrong

5 Pittsburgh Steelers The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that competes in the National Football League. Pittsburgh Steelers have won the most Super Bowls with 6 which currently stands today.

Pittsburgh has become the Saints of the AFC. They are clicking at the right time. The playoff preview matchup vs New England will be fun to say the least.

6 Tennessee Titans The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee. The Titans compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

Congrats on finally winning in Indianapolis. The Titans are very mediocre but The race is still on with the Jags losing to a lifeless Cardinals team. Tennessee has a somewhat easy schedule left with notable games against the Rams and a final showdown with the Jags which will likely be the deciding factor for who will win the division if both teams play their cards well.

7 Buffalo Bills The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area that competes in the National Football League. Buffalo Bills had the longest playoff drought of any team which came to an end in 2017.

Buffalo remains alive in the playoffs discussion. They still have two games against the Dolphins and Pats. The Bills got a good win against Kansas City. I'm saying that there's still a good chance depending on how Baltimore does

8 Dallas Cowboys The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

Congrats Dallas you have lost pretty much any hope you have of a division title and likely a wild card spot too. Dak has fallen from the level where he was playing earlier. And Zeke? Well yeah he's suspended. What's funny is that he could have been playing if he already took the suspension and moved on instead of trying to go around it.

Tough time for Zeke to be suspended.

9 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

The Ravens are contenders who came out of nowhere. Another team that has gone unnoticed by me that is on the radar. Definitely keep your eyes on them

I'm not counting Baltimore out yet. The Ravens control their own potential

10 Arizona Cardinals The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football franchise based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

After everything that has happened this season and me saying that they were lifeless the Cards still somehow have playoff hopes! Not great odds but still the fact that it's still a possibility is surprising

The Contenders
11 Jacksonville Jaguars The Jacksonville Jaguars are an American professional football franchise based in Jacksonville, Florida.
