Most Surprising NFL Teams of 2017 After Week 13

As December is upon us the Season is winding to a finish. But let's see what happened this week as the playoff picture begins to take shape.
The Top Ten
1 Philadelphia Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

Philadelphia took a second L of the season at Seattle. They are still a good team but Seattle made them look vulnerable. Actually if you look back they have only one win against an above.500 team.

I think the most surprising thing is how half of the fanbase is now Patriots,Steelers,Saints,or Vikings fans

2 Dallas Cowboys The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Cowboys compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference East division.

Just when I thought the 'Boys were out they stayed alive by beating Washington. At home in rather dominating fashion. And They finally got a Win without Zeke.

3 Seattle Seahawks The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football franchise based in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference West division.

Seattle once again showed that they can beat anyone. The legion of Boom still remains alive.Don't count them out of the division race yet. Keep in mind that they still have a game against the Rams.

Man did they expose Philadelphia

4 Baltimore Ravens The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference North division.

The Ravens continue to silently sneak into the playoff conversation. They have a real easy schedule so I see them finishing 10-6

5 Kansas City Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

The Chiefs continue to skate on thin ice. Alex Smith had a good game but the Offense couldn't save the defensive side collapsing again. They find themselves in a tie with Oakland and LA. This team reminds me of a Vikings team from about 3 years ago

Dammit Defense you had ONE JOB! You're the one to blame here. Alex Smith and the Offense were actually decent.

6 Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

In spite of all that has happened they remain alive in the playoffs and now Rodgers could possibly return to end the season. There's still hope in Green Bay

7 Washington Redskins The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. In 2020, Washington after 87 years got rid of the Redskins trademark due to it being labeled racist to native culture. It was named the Washington Football Team until February 2022, when the team was renamed the Washington Commanders.

Another painful loss for the Redskins. I'm officially eliminating them for having too many painful losses.

8 Minnesota Vikings The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season.

The Vikes are legit but the only thing I have against them is the Super Bowl in Minnesota. No team has played at home in the super bowl yet

They have been surprising me

9 Pittsburgh Steelers The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that competes in the National Football League. Pittsburgh Steelers have won the most Super Bowls with 6 which currently stands today.

This is exactly why I don't believe in the Steelers. They are the team that could beat New England but then lose to Cleveland. Way to play inconsistent! You're going to be Property of New England in the playoffs again

10 Oakland Raiders The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The Raiders began playing in 1960 as a member club of the American Football League; they have been a member club of the National Football League since the 1970 AFL–NFL merger. In 2020, the Raiders relocated from Oakland, California to Las Vegas.

After being silent they remain in the mix for the playoffs.

The Contenders
11 Los Angeles Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
