Most Surprising NFL Teams After Week 7 of the 2017-18 Season
With the conclusion of Week 7 here are the teams that have surprised us the most good or bad.Da Bears put up 17 points against Carolina and held a hot Panthers offense to only a field goal. What's really surprising is that Da Bears didn't even have much offense. It was their defense that carried them. They showed us they have a defense and may have very well put themselves into the race for the wide open NFC North
The Raiders suddenly came to life after looking dead for most of the season thus far. Amari Cooper finally came to life as well. After losing 4 straight and falling to last place in the division they might still be able to climb back into the race especially after beating Kansas City in a thrilling last second fashion. Oakland still has hope after being all but dead
I have to say this game was not what I expected at all. They won in overtime but against the Browns? (I do feel sorry for Cleveland. They were so close.)This game was ugly on so many levels. Tennessee should be embarrassed.
In the foggy super bowl rematch Atlanta was held to only 7 points. Instead of revenge the Falcons basically had a switcheroo with New England. The Falcons could potentially be heading for deep trouble if they don't turn the ship around. They still have all 6 division games to go so they are still in the air.
This week we saw the return of Sacksonville. The Jags actually looked like a real team against a banged up Colts team still missing Andrew Luck. Keep it up and you have some hope
They started out 0-4 but have since won 3 straight games. After shutting out Denver do they have a chance to get out of the basement? Will Philip Rivers finally break through and make a statement as one of the most underrated QB's?
Losing is one thing but a blowout loss to the Chargers is something else. The Broncos struggled all game long. I'm kinda surprised Simeian remains the starting QB. With a rough stretch ahead Denver could be in trouble
And this is why I don't believe in the Cardinals. Because of games like what happened against the Rams. Even with AP they were blanked by the LA. Palmer went down and they looked lifeless.
After looking so hot on offense the Panthers were completely shut out by Chicago. I thought Carolina could score more than a field goal.
Matt Moore helped this team rally to barely edge the Jets after Jay Cutler was injured. I'm not too surprised because this is Miami.
I don't see Cleveland going anywhere obviously but just the fact that they were actually close against a decent Titans team instead of getting blown out. The Browns took them to Overtime. Cleveland you were oh So close...
