Top 10 Most Surprising NFL Teams of Week 7 (2020)

Remember that time we thought the Patriots would be good this year. Boy were we wrong... This is the part where they get exposed as the frauds they truly are. Cam Newton has looked absolutely HORRID these past few weeks. It got so bad he threw 3 interceptions and looked like he was forcing turnovers and he was benched for Jarrett Stidham yes it was that bad. They couldn't do anything on offense and their defense was gashed repeatedly by the 49ers offense. New England just suffered their worst home loss in 20 years. Adding even further insult to injury they're sitting at 2-4 and 3rd in the division. And they got Buffalo next so it's not like things get any easier (they still play the Jets twice but still) The last time it was that bad of a blowout at home Bill Belichick wasn't even their coach. To quote Dennis Green "They are who we thought they were!"

Say what you want to about Dallas being injured with no O line no Dak and a horrid defense. You cannot tell me that you saw this coming. Sure Washington might have won, but to dominate Dallas like that definitely caught me off guard. This was a game that was over by halftime. Dallas was held to just a field goal and ran outta the stadium by Kyle Allen of all quarterbacks... and Antonio Gibson as well. If you would've told me that Washington would beat the hell out of Dallas like that, I wouldn't have believed you, but here we are.

The 49ers made quite the statement in Jimmy Garoppolo's homecoming game back to New England. San Francisco showed no mercy as they torched the Pats allegedly "good" defense and took anything worth value. They devoured Cam Newton so bad they had to replace him. Oh and Patriots say hello to the dynamic force of Jeff Wilson. What's even more insane is They're a team banged up with injuries and they still did that...in other words, don't underestimate San Francisco because they still have some fight left in them.

LOL Falcons, you guys really do find amazing ways to lose games don't you? What was a de facto Tank Bowl was more of a Choke Bowl as both teams desperately tried to hand the other side the win. The Falcons find themselves down 16-14 and near the end zone. All Todd Gurley has to do is NOT score so they run the clock out. Instead, he scores and gives the Lions a chance to comeback. The choking memes continue as Atlanta has now choked away what their last 3 games now. It's almost not surprising but they make the list because they really lose in amazing ways every single week.

The Steelers dominated the Titans during what was a shootout of undefeated teams. Pittsburgh was up 27-7 at one point before Derrick Henry led the Titans on a furious comeback. The Steelers managed to somehow do just enough to win and got off the hook with a LUCKY win and I mean it when I say they got lucky after nearly blowing a 20 point lead luckily for the Steelers faithful they didn't pull a Falcons.

Good job Lions. You guys get to enjoy a win as Atlanta once again chokes in humiliating fashion. Stafford led a game winning drive to pad his stats and make him look good. To me, Detroit didn't win this game, they were merely gifted a golden opportunity and they just so happened to pounce on it. Now enjoy having Stafford and Patricia around for 3 more years because you still think you're competitive.

Tennessee may have lost it, give them props. This game was set to be a blowout, but Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill had other plans. The fact that they made this a game is in itself surprising. In fact, they had a shot to tie it if Gostkowski didn't miss a clutch field goal.

The Browns make the list because they were like a tale of two halves. You had first half Baker who looked horrible like Godawful, but then he had an impressive turnaround in the second half and they actually managed to pull this one off at the end.

The Eagles are injured to hell and back. But some how, some way, they managed to do just enough to get by with a win. Such a horrible game aided by Danny Dimes turning the ball over. That 80 yard tripping touchdown run sums things up perfectly.
