Alphys is an adorably dorky, lab-coat-wearing, bespectacled, yellow-skinned lizard scientist who resides in her lab in Hotland in the critically acclaimed cult classic RPG known as Undertale, wherein she partakes in the daily act of watching insane amounts of anime and having a vast majority of the game's plot-related spoilers attached to her.
Plot twists aside, however, she is also well known for creating the fabulous entertainment robot Mettaton, as well as having a massive crush on a young fish woman named Undyne, thus creating one of the most beloved lesbian couples in fiction.

When you first meet Alphys in Undertale, you can't tell how depressing her back story is. She just seems shy, and friendly. She has much more to her, and I can't help but feel bad for her. Poor Alphys...
The character with the worst mistakes in the game. Her life is desperate, she is too afraid to live. But in the genocide run, she finally breaks out of this, and saves everyone she can.
We love her. (who wouldn't? ) her story is one of courage, love and friendship. but yes, it's dark and makes me cry just thinking about it.
Especially dark when she commits suicide (based on your choices).
