Top Ten Teams Most Likely to Win the Presidents' Trophy in the 2018-19 NHL Season

In your opinion what NHL team of the 2018-19 season has the highest chances of winning the President's Trophy (finishing first place in the whole league)?
The Top Ten
1 Tampa Bay Lightning The Tampa Bay Lightning are a professional ice hockey team based in Tampa, Florida. It is a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. The Lightning have three Stanley Cup championships in their history, in 2003-04, 2019-20, and 2020-21.

If the Predators were to start sucking (Very unlikely) then Tampa Bay would be my second pick for the President's Trophy. Definitely a top Cup contender.

As a Bolts fan, I would be damned if they won the Prez. Nobody who wins the president's trophy wins the Stanley Cup. We still have to make up for 2015, 2016, and 2018.

Oh shut up you guys have no chance of beating the predators

They did win the President's Trophy, but it was disappointing when they got swept by the blue jackets

2 Nashville Predators The Nashville Predators are a professional ice hockey team based in Nashville, Tennessee. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.

They are amazing. They stay consistent. Great offense and defense. Mark my words either the Predators or Lightning are winning the President's Trophy!

3 Boston Bruins The Boston Bruins are a professional ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. The Bruins compete in the National Hockey League as a member club of the league's Eastern Conference Atlantic Division.

As much as I hate saying it, the Bruins have a team contending for the Stanley Cup. I don't think Marchand deserves to win the Cup, he's just so mean.

4 Winnipeg Jets The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.

Semi-Finalists, and looking for more. Let's get a Canadian team to win the Cup! Laine is going to be great, he already is.

5 Toronto Maple Leafs The Toronto Maple Leafs, officially the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club and often simply referred to as the Leafs, are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto, Ontario. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.

With Auston Matthews being injured early in the season the Leafs chances for the President's Trophy have dropped drastically.

6 Pittsburgh Penguins The Pittsburgh Penguins (colloquially known as the Pens) are a professional ice hockey team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference. The Penguins are one of two NHL franchises in Pennsylvania, the other being the Philadelphia Flyers. The cities' proximity has led to a rivalry known as the "Battle of Pennsylvania". The club is owned by Mario Lemieux and Ronald Burkle, who purchased the Penguins in 1999 and brought the club out of bankruptcy.

With Malkin and Crosby how could I not put them on here. Though Matt Murray hasn't been playing like most people expected.

7 San Jose Sharks The San Jose Sharks are a professional ice hockey team based in San Jose, California. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.

If they start playing better, Karlsson and Burns will be legendary. But they aren't playing as well as I thought, so I put them in 7th.

8 Calgary Flames The Calgary Flames are a professional ice hockey team based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Flames are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.

When they're on fire, they're on fire! Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Giordano, Hanifin, Monahan are some of The Flames good players. Thought they need better goaltending.

9 Minnesota Wild The Minnesota Wild are a professional ice hockey team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.

If Dubnyk can have another amazing season then they could do something. They're doing better than I thought also.

10 Arizona Coyotes The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona.
The Contenders
11 Colorado Avalanche The Colorado Avalanche are a professional ice hockey team based in Denver, Colorado. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. The Avalanche and Coyotes are the only two teams in their division not based in the Central Time Zone; the teams are situated in the Mountain Time Zone.

With a great start to the season they're looking good. But can they stay consistent? That's the question.

12 Montreal Canadiens The Montreal Canadiens (French: Les Canadiens de Montréal) are a professional ice hockey team based in Montreal, Quebec. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
13 Vegas Golden Knights The Vegas Golden Knights are a professional ice hockey team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference. Founded in 2017 as an expansion team, the Golden Knights are the first major sports franchise ...read more.
