They are the best to me because all there music is solid, and very consistent. They have good lyrics with an amazing vocalist. Amazing guitar riffs and solos. Epic drum beats and beautiful double bass solos. A good bass sound that's a very intense beat. Avenged sevenfold is at the top of the charts for me!

I had a friend who told me Avenged Sevenfold symbolised the death of rock and roll. He couldn't be mre wrong. Shadows voice is amazing, Syn and Zacky are some of the best guitar duos in the world, The Rev was one of the best drummers ever and Johnnys bass is epic in Critical Acclaim and their new stuff is as good as their old stuff

Just listen to afterlife that has to be one of the best songs I have ever heard.

If their guitarist was better they would be second, but I feel like they rely on the drums to much.

I am not a big fan for their lyrics, but I like their screams. Very beautiful guitar solos and riffs. The drums are definitely a very important price to bullets sound and style.

The stuff korn foes amazes me! Korn I'd good, but I don't like how the guitar solos are not full they are very dull. The drums are very average. I don't like how they rely on the bass player and lyrics to make them who they are.

KoRn is the best

6 In This Moment In This Moment is an American alternative metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star.

Very amazing live shows. The singer has a sexy voice and writes good lyrics. The guitarist could do more with it. Kind of just an average drummer. And the bass is barely heard so they kind of rely on lyrics and vocals.

7 Papa Roach Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California. Formed in 1993, their first major-label release was the triple-platinum album Infest.

Very amazing vocals and lyrics. The guitar is very weak but still fits the style. The drums are not amazing but he gets the job done. And an average bassist.

This is not heavy metal this is more-so aroun three days grace than any of these bands

8 Hollywood Undead Hollywood Undead is an American rap rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States. All of the band members use pseudonyms and wear their own unique mask, most of which are based on the common hockey goaltender design.

I am a huge fan of these guys. They are a favorite of mine, but they have horrible guitar riffs, average drum beats, and no solos!

Love this band so much

9 Children of Bodom Children Of Bodom was a melodic death metal band from Espoo, Finland. Formed in 1993, the final lineup consisted of Alexi Laiho, Janne Wirman, Henkka Seppälä, Jaska Raatikainen and Daniel Freyberg.

I do like the lyrics but not a big fan of the vocals. Guitar wise amazing riffs, crazy good solos, and a drummer to keep the beat fast!

10 Black Veil Brides Black Veil Brides is an American rock band currently consisting of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (guitar), Jake Pitts (guitar), Christian Coma (drums) and Ashley Purdy (bass), that formed in 2006 in Ohio. In the beginning of their career, the band was heavily associated with the emo subculture, and had strong metalcore, screamo and alternative influences, however got more metal oriented over the years. Their songs usually carry a message of acceptance, believing in yourself and being individual and different. Among their most well known songs are "Knives and Pens", "Rebel Love Song", "In the End" and "Fallen Angels".

I love this band other than the vocals, when he screams it sounds like he is whispering. The guitars are there, drums ate there, lyrics are strong. But not enough to move them up my charts.

This band is awesome and his scream is just really raspy and hoarse I love it and love everyone in the band especially C.C's crazy self
