Ten Really Good Books

The Contenders: Page 10

181 The Unbearable Lightness Of Being - Milan Kundera
182 And I Don't Want to Live This Life - Deborah Spungen
183 Kensuke's Kingdom - Michael Morpurgo

Through and through, it's a really enjoyable, funny, hearwarming book about a British boy who moves into an island in the Pacific Ocean and meets an elderly Japanese man. Despite the 2 being friends, they tell stories of their lives, with Kensuke telling about how he got here. Then they try to save orang-utans from poachers. It's a great book, I hugely suggest it. - PizzaGuy

Fantastic book, unbelievably fantastic series. Wells writing capabilities are like none other. It is really a wonderful story and a can't put down page turner! - september83

198 Thinblade (Sovereign of the Seven Isles) Book 1 David a Wells

The best book series ever. Seven books total and every one one of them is original and exciting. Not a dull moment in the whole series. Will make you laugh, cry, angry and happy. Never know what to expect at any moment. If you have read them then you know what I'm talking about. - september83

199 Watching Edie - Camilla Way

This really is such a fantastically written novel. Psychological suspense thriller about female friendship gone badly wrong. A slow -burner but the tension is tangible. The writer cleverly manipulates the reader into taking sides between the two women. It's dark; atmospheric and will have you guessing their terrible secret throughout. I can't praise this book enough... If you love tense, nail-bighting, heart-pounding thrillers, you WILL love this. That's a promise :). - Britgirl

200 No Country for Old Men - Cormac McCarthy
