Top 10 Terrible TV Shows That a Lot of People Like for Some Reason

MegaSoulhero created a list called Top 10 Terrible Disney Movies That a Lot of People Like for Some Reason, so I decided to do one about shows I hate that are OVER-RATED! (clap clap, clap clap clap clap) Here we go.
The Top Ten
1 Family Guy Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter (Fat, Idiotic Dad) and Lois (Nagging Bitchy Wife), their children Meg (Socially Awkward Daughter) Chris (Fat, Idiotic ...read more.

Good grief, it's time for this show to end. They've run out of ideas and now just over-rely on shock humor that often isn't funny. While old Family Guy was incredibly clever, things are just getting out of hand. People are seriously watching a high budget Mr. Pickles now, and at least some of us know how horrible that abomination is.

Family Guy isn't bad either. The reason people think it's bad is shock based humour. Now shock based humour doesn't affect me very much and I can look past blood and things on the T.V. screen. So I don't mind this show as it is just some fun entertainment to watch and see what creative things they might do with the family next.

Out of the top 10 choices, this and #10 are the only ones that match the title, the rest are either simply overrated or simply terrible.

What kind of tasteless, unwashed, arrogant heathen put this and South Park at the top?

2 Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer (2000 - 2019) is an American preschool educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner in which Dora goes on adventures with her friend, a monkey named Boots.

This isn't a terrible show, its just that retarded teenagers complain over this movie 24/7

Just don't watch it if you think you're too mature enough.

How do you know a lot of people liked this show?

A quote unquote 5 YEAR OLD SHOW!

3 Robot Chicken Robot Chicken is an American stop motion sketch comedy television series, created and executive produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich along with co-head writers Douglas Goldstein and Tom Root for Adult Swim.
4 SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

Ugh! I really don't see why people like this show. I respect people's opinions if they do like it, but I just don't get what so special about this show. It's just not my thing

Like Family Guy and South Park, SpongeBob has been run into the ground. It had incredible humor pre-SpongeBob, then it became okay, then it became stupid.

I don't like SpongeBob. It's too boring and the director needs to be ready to take this show down. Not my style of show.

This show got worse, just like The Simpsons and Family Guy.

5 Rick and Morty Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim.

What the hell is wrong with you

Good, but overrated.

6 Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is a Japanese anime television series produced by Gainax, as well as a series of tie-in media developed around it. The series ran from October to December 2010 on BS Nittele.

I think we all know why people like this

7 Liv and Maddie Liv and Maddie is a live-action Disney Channel sitcom that started on July 19, 2013, and ended on March 24, 2017. It is about two identical twin sisters named Olivia "Liv" Rooney and Madison "Maddie" Rooney (both portrayed by actress Dove Olivia Cameron; born in January 1996 as Chloe Celeste Hosterman) who reunite after one of them, Liv, returns to her home to see her family after four years of starring on a hit musical sitcom entitled "Sing It Loud!". The show is both a comedy and a drama, and is intended for viewers of all ages. In total it has had four complete seasons and its fourth and final season started on September 23, 2016.

Remember when in Zack and Cody, they used actual twins? Now Disney is lazy and cheap and would rather only pay one actress instead of two. Plus I hate how they force every actress to sing, whether or not they're actually talented. I've heard Dove Cameron sing, and her voice has SO much auto tune that it's embarrassing.

Sorry, Disney1994, but not everybody likes your "amazing" television show.

My sister likes all of the Disney shows, I don't understand why

So funny everyone has to laugh at this show it's comedy!

8 Teen Titans Go! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television ...read more.

Who wants to bet that the people who voted for Gravity Falls and Steven Universe to be on this list enjoy this show? I mean, if they dislike amazing shows like that, then I'm sure their godawful tastes led them to enjoy THIS piece of crap.

When will Cartoon Network realize that cartoons are not all about pandering to kids in the most disgraceful ways possible? - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I don't know than the people like this garbage, for people we are talking about 5 years old kids who don't know the original right?

Replaced the beloved early series that they left on such a cliffhanger!

9 Breadwinners Breadwinners is an American animated television series created by Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele and Steve Borst for Nickelodeon. ...read more.

This pile of crap is just embarrassing on Nick's part.

Who the hell like this?

10 South Park South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. The show is about four boys, who are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their adventures in South Park, Colorado.

This is not a terrible T.V. show, I think it might be a little worse than previous seasons, but it's not terrible in comparison to other shows. Whoever thinks this is terrible has a personal opinion that this is terrible. Me I think South Park is great. I do think 20 plus seasons is a lot for any cartoon show. I honestly think the highest any show should go is probably 15 seasons if it's really popular.

Like Family Guy, this thing is being overproduced, but at least the producers have the sense to eventually end it soon. Yes, South Park can be a really funny show, but it doesn't really have that spark anymore.

This show SUCKS! It's horrible and awful. (I'm sorry, but that's my opinion, and if you can't respect it, I don't care. I am already predicting the 30 dislikes I'll get from butthurt South Park fans.)

The recent season was awful, but the rest are good.

The Contenders

The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel in the fictional town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, while on summer vacation.

The fact that someone put this masterpiece on this list, let alone vote it as #3, absolutely baffles me. Gravity Falls is an amazing cartoon with originalty, humor, morals, dynamic and lovable characters, mature plot lines, sad moments, etc... I can't believe anyone would think this show is "terrible." Either they didn't give girlfriend enough of a chance, or maybe they just prefer Teen Titans Go. Clearly whoever voted for this show cannot recognize genius screenwriting when they see it- it's truly sad as hell.

This show is creative, funny at times, and well-animated. Get this out of here.

I don't like this show at all. Gravity Falls gives me the bore...

How is gravity falls terrible I like this show

22 Teletubbies Teletubbies is a British pre-school children's television series created by Ragdoll Productions' Anne Wood CBE and Andrew Davenport, who wrote each of the show's 365 episodes. 24 The Loud House The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. Originally set to premier on January 2016, the series instead premiered on May 2, 2016, with the episodes Left in the Dark and Get the Message.

Most of the characters are Total Drama ripoffs. It's also way overused to have more than 3 kids in a cartoon/sitcom and have them all fight for attention.

I don't like it anymore. And I don't even know what is so great about this show?

One of the only 3 or 4 I agree with

25 The Simpsons The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that originally started on April 19, 1987 as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2023, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer Simpson and his family (wife Marge and children Bart, Lisa and Maggie and pets, Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper) going through a long series of misadventures.

Whoever got those 8 downvotes I feel sympathy for.

Do you people realise that this show is highly overrated? It is liked WAY too much, the show has went downhill since Season 6, and the previous "good" seasons didn't have any sort of quality in humor either. To be honest, the only good episodes are the ones that Homer doesn't make an appearance or has a merely cameo in (which are pretty rare).

The Simpsons is the cartoon equivalent to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time pretty much, both are terrible nowadays and are clearly overrated.

You fanbrats need to realise that there are better cartoons than The Simpsons (Avatar: The Last Airbender and Pre-Movie SpongeBob SquarePants are examples) just so you decide to get butthurt and click the Downvote button instead of accepting an opinion.

What's wrong with the Simpsons? Sure, they're not as funny as they used to be, but they aren't terrible!

Don't Feel Sympathy For Anyone

It's not really good at all.
