With Typhon, it took the combined powers of the Olympians, and the demigods, cyclops, and several beings to even defeat Typhon. Yeah, Cerberus is a giant dog with three heads, but what is he honestly going to do to Typhon. Technically speaking if Echidna is the mother of all monsters, then isn't Typhon the father? That raises some question in my book.
