The Most Disappointing Movies of All Time

The Contenders: Page 4

61 Alien 3
62 A Good Day to Die Hard
63 Jurrasic Park 2: The Lost World

The first movie was an exhibition of groundbreaking effects making the movie monsters appear more tangible than ever before. The sequel thoroughly shattered that illusion with a mini heroine doing a gymnastics routine in the jungle.

At Least It's Better Than Jurassic Park 3 And Spielberg's Other Big Disappointment Indiana Jones: Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

64 Son of the Mask

Why does my best friend and my brother likes this movie and I don't.

65 Napoleon Dynamite

Everyone was talking about how great this movie was. All throughout the movie, I was waiting for something funny to happen. Funny never came. Someone decided to make a clean comedy, but yet they used stupid jokes. Common Hollywood! Show us that you can make funny movies without resorting to cheap sex jokes and strings of profanities.

All the weed in the world still wont make this movie funny. It's not one of those cynical movies that requires a bit of intellect to understand, it requires a bit of retardedness and a lot of stupidity.

I thought I had missed something after watching the whole movie twice and not cracking a single smile once. And then it dawned on me. My friends are just stupid.

Al the actors looked extremely high, I'm not saying that's not good for a comedy movie, but they didn't act like so

66 X-Men 3

As a maniac fans of previous X-men movie, I was so dissapointed with this one!
damn, why Bryan Singer didn't direct it.. it just look all dark, without any escent like previously made.. Bret Ratner suck! - mesh13

They killed Cyclops, the best X-Man ever, so that pretty much ruined the movie - rorschach1011

I agree with rorschach1011. They shouldn't have killed cyclops - Heman

So disappointing it had to be added to this list twice.

67 Toy Story 3

The G rating gave me great expectations. I didn't get anything that I thought I would. I didn't expect Woody to leave the others, a teddy bar for an antagonist, or a sad ending. This should be first place because The Phantom Menace gave rise to Lego video games while Toy Story 3 only has a use of ruining Father's Day.

I cried at the end of the movie.

I don't know why people like this movie. - LarkwingFlight

68 Insurgent
69 Nine Months
70 Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant
71 Batman Forever

I rank this one as more disappointing than Batman & Robin because after this one, you knew the fourth iteration was going to be a stinker. I had hoped for much more from a cast that included Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey and Nicole Kidman.

The movie is good, but doesn't live up to the AWESOME title, which sounds like an eternity of Batman which is great, you know?

I wouldn't say it's classic like the Tim burton one but at least it's better than batman and robin

This movie made me want to kill the guy that created this massive turd

72 Eyes Wide Shut

Rumours says that Stanley Kubrick was very dissapointed about the cast Kidman / Cruise who were a couple at that time. He said that this was a big mistake and that he would never ever cast a real couple again for acting. The script was also supposed to be a crude comment about the decadence lifestyle of those who are regarded as respected people by the common outsider, but who are corrupted by their power. Because he struggled with his health and therefore time he was never be able to made the film he wanted. All that made a very disappointing film, but nevertheless a succes for the people who were just interested in the orgy / sex scenes and who don't care about comments of a decadent society. And that's what Stanley Kubrick didn't aim or strive for.

It is still an amazing movie but I'm so deceived by it... Because we will never know what Kubrick has in mind for editing it! He was unhappy by this version before he died? Why? What would have been cut, changed and improved? Scorcese had written on this movie: This cannot be called a Kubrick movie because the final editing is what makes the entire tone of the film. A director must not die before completing it

I can't believe it that this is the last Kubrick's movie..So sad..

73 King Arthur

When I heard they were making a realistic interpretation of the stories of King Arthur, I was hoping for another Troy. Instead I got a dull, wannabe buddy flick with completely non-endearing characters and a weak storyline.

Not exciting or engaging at all. Didn't really like any of the characters. I was shocked when the movie ended, it didn't seem like there was a complete story or climax or anything! And then it was over, what a disappointment.

The scene on the frozen lake was the only good part of the movie. Oh, and I kinda liked Keira Knightley's war bikini. But as a "history" movie, and as a movie in general, it overall sucks. - alinaschneider

74 Men in Black II
75 I Am Legend

This movie was just way too quick. - connorchaos

76 Lord of the Rings - The Animated Version

What a letdown after reading the book! The new series kicks its ass by a mile.

All of these movies are terrible... Not just the animated one. Put this series at the top of the list! - phigginskc

I've never liked any of Ralph Bakshi's work anyway.

77 Inherit the Wind

I excitedly rented this film thinking I was getting an engrossing film on the famous monkey trial. What I got was a cartoon.

78 Frozen

It was good at first but every one made it a big deal

The Earth will be better without this movie.

Please don't make a frozen sequel.

79 The Core
80 2001: A Space Odyssey

I don't hate this movie but it's not a good movie and I don't understand why it is worshiped as one of the greats of all time. Before I saw this movie I had heard some HAL quotes and seen a clip of the monkey oracle scene and feel like that's all I needed to see not endless hours of boredom

Lets see, 4 hours of a single panoramic shot of a space ship that looks like a gum-ball floating endlessly across a screen, then 3 minutes of foreshadowed, boring, plot. The only way anybody could ever have liked this movie is if they had just taken about 10 pounds of LSD, then eaten a pound of crack. - QuarantineGames

An extremely overrated and disappointing movie

Could NOT understand the plot! - Zordon2010
