Top 10 Best Things Related to Being a 2000s Kid

And people say 2000s kids have bad taste. HA!! I strongly disagree. True, not everything in the 2000s was good, and yes, there are things in the 2000s that sucked, like CN Real, Hannah Montana, or the Jonas Brothers, but NOT EVERYTHING in the 2000s is awful. You say everyone in the entire world hates the 2000s? THINK again. The 2000s were still a fun decade, even if it wasn't perfect.

1 Cartoon Network Cartoon Network is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner.

Cartoon Network may have sucked in the LATE 2000s (2007-2009), but they were still great in the 2000s, even if they weren't perfect.

2 GameCube

Still have one of these and play it to this day!

3 Adult Swim

I actually only started to watch Adult Swim very recently. I never really consumed much adult media as a kid, and looking back on it, I think I might have missed out.

Even though this block was for adults, it attracted kids due to it being on CN.

4 Harry Potter

I remember watching the movies with my older sister Kristen bulanek and she read the books to me!

5 PlayStation 2

This is the only thing I can relate to in this list as a young Russian kid growing up in the 2000s. I remember playing some bootleg or pirated PS2 games on this old timer.

13 The Simpsons The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that originally started on April 19, 1987 as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2023, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer Simpson and his family (wife Marge and children Bart, Lisa and Maggie and pets, Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper) going through a long series of misadventures.

The 2000s was when it was declining, I say the 90s kids have it better in terms of the Simpsons.

I remember watching this show in the 2000s, and it's excellent. My favourite character is Ed.

This show was awesome! Much better than Adventure Time and Steven Universe no doubt!

Yes, it premiered in 1999, but it DID run longer in the 2000s. THIS is why being a 2000s kid is AWESOME!

I enjoyed it years ago.

I actually used to watch a lot of Looney Tunes shorts when I was a kid in the 2000s. And I actually loved them, and still do today.

22 The Dark Knight
23 Nintendo Wii

One of my childhood consoles, and in my opinion, the best console ever.
