Sure, Calvin doesn’t seem mature when you are reading the strips, but look at him from a broader perspective. By the end he has learned to respect his peers, friends and family. He never did grow up, and I doubt he ever will, but is that really a bad thing? You can still be mature without being a boring grown-up.
