Top Ten Best Things About the United States

The Top Ten
1 Freedom

Freedom is the reason that the US is the best country in the world! That's the whole reason our founding fathers came over here, for Freedom! We have freedom of speech, religion, and a lot more!

Obama improved the economy. Our unemployment is 5%, Dow is around 18,000, consumer confidence is higher etc.

Amazing cities #1! Seriously?!?! America was founded so people could have freedom not big cities!

And this is why Washington fought for freedom, because Freedom rocks!

2 Amazing Cities

Chicago, New York, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, Baltimore, New Haven, Albany, Columbus, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Nashville, Memphis, Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Anchorage, Honolulu, and many more...

I'm from the UK but I moved to America last month and I'm with my aunt in Chicago and its amazing its like living the dream the lights are the best part and when nothing's quiet it never makes you feel alone. I'm really glad I left England.

The US of A has the most beautiful city ever. You know what it's called? No it's not Los Angeles or New York City. It's is Detroit that is the most beautiful!

USA has lots of amazing cities such as Kahalui, Los Angeles, Coeur D'Alene, New York, Dallas, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, Boston, Anaheim, Indianapolis, Detroit, Philly, Milwaukee, Albuquerque, Juneau and Baltimore!

3 Beautiful Weather

Well it depends. In Boston there could be three feet of snow while on the same day in Los. Angeles it's 70 degrees and sunny.
America is a big country which means the weather isn't going to be the same everywhere you go.

Like the weather in us excellent...

I don't agree, mainly because June 1st 2015, the high was 50 degrees Fahrenheit and we've had 5 feet of snow😭

4 Patriotic Spirit
5 Right to Bear Arms

Yep it’s a constitutional right. The Second amendment says so

6 Vast Land
7 Television and Movies

I live in america and think that the television and movies now are one of the 'worst' things about america, if only because of the over-sexualizing of literally everything these days. Almost every movie or television show I've tried to watch lately, with very few exceptions, has ended up having some kind of nudity, partial nudity or overly smutty scenes in it. Which then I have to change the channel feeling like I just wasted my time am never going to get back.

The media has become so bad with this - I was recently married, every time I would try watching shows or movies with my husband trying to relax and have some laid back quality time together..another sex scene would turn up with close ups of half/fully-naked women. I believe in manogamy, I believe a husband or wife should not cheat on their partner, and I also believe that when someone looks at a woman 'lustfully' they are committing adultery 'in their heart'... and it hurts to feel like our relationship has been tainted ...more

I'd say the only good thing about America is it's entertainment. Though only a few of them can really be called worthwile.
(I apoligize for any mispellings and weong form of grammar.)

8 Republicans

All they do is hate on Obama all day. Go look at the statistics. Do some research. Apparently, more Louisiana Republicans blame Obama for Hurricane Katrina than they blame Bush! If you didn't know, Hurricane Katrina occurred when Bush was president, well before Obama. Crazy!

Just care about money. Oh, and hating on Obama, when they can't find anyone to replace him.

They are the reason that the country is even remotely good

This shouldn't be so high up, it's embarrassing.

9 Opinions Are Allowed

Only if you agree with everything other people say - and if you disagree, you get screamed at.

Opinions are allowed anywhere, America. GB!

10 Democrats

You do know the recent president tried to change how many terms he could get the minute he got into office? And he is a democrat. There shouldn't even be political parties, its useless, it just divides everyone.

I love Democrats... I have never voted for 1 republican... Ever! Never! Forever!

Bruh Fox News shows how all Democrats are way worse than Republicans. Watch the news people!

Democrats are stupid, damn them all to hell!

The Contenders
11 Military No offense to military people, but this isn't something to brag about. At least, not with the amount of wars the US gets involved in. The best fighters are those that know when to fight and when not to, and those who know HOW to fight -- wars aren't always won by fists (or guns). The best military isn't the one with the most wins, it's the one that consistently brings their people HOME. Although, I suppose that's more of a fault in our leadership.

12 Sports

Maybe the only good think.

This should be WAY higher

13 It's Beautiful

Donald trump made it ugly, so this list already is a filthy lie!

There's a reason it's the best country

Especially the wildlife

14 Christianity

United States has the largest Christian population in the world

Um I don't get this one

15 Great Food

This is why Americans eat to much food, I love tacos, it is Mexican, but American for hot wings

The only "great food" the US have is fast food turning Americans obesed.

You mean giant portions, horrible chocolate.

Yes except unhealthy foods

16 Friendly People

Not to say people from other countries are mean, but in Canada, I learned that no one really stops for you when you cross the road, and in Europe, I was almost mugged twice. Friendly people exist everywhere, but I've just had some unfortunate encounters

The USA has plenty of friendly people... Or at least if you go to the right states

Why would you want people stopping you when you cross the road? That's dangerous!

I am basically judged here. I am friendly most of the time.

17 Wyoming Wyoming is a state in the mountain region of the Western United States. The state is the tenth largest by area, but the least populous and the second least densely populated of the 50 United States.

What? Who added this?

How is this a GOOD thing?

Yeah honestly

19 Multicultural
20 Neil Armstrong Neil Alden Armstrong was an American astronaut and aeronautical engineer who was the first person to walk on the Moon. He was also a naval aviator, test pilot, and university professor.

In 10,000 years, it is probable that nobody will remember the United State, or any other country, person, or thing from today.
The ONLT thing from our time they will know is that Neil Armstrong was the first human being to leave the planet and walk on another world.

The fist man to go on the moon

First American man on moon

First human being on the moon, PERIOD!

21 Offers Jobs
22 Donald Trump Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessman, television personality, politician, and the 45th President of the United States. Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Trump received an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. In 1971, more.

Whoever added this must be hanged...

23 Great Interstates

The interstates may have been great when they were built in the 1950s/60s but many are in such appalling condition it makes the US seem like a third world country

24 A Lot of Sight Seeing
25 It Rains a Lot

Yep gotta love the rain here

Rain is good, but not Florida rain. Eww.
