Top 10 Things Canada is Famous For

The Top Ten
1 Maple Syrup

@Martin_Canine - yes, it's sweet like honey. Its sugar and flavor are natural because maple trees store sugar. It's smooth- and silky-textured, with a sweet, distinctive flavor - hints of caramel with overtones of vanilla.
It's widely used in Canada - a great ice cream topping because it's similar to caramel topping; pancake topping instead of honey or chocolate. In our grocery stores we have yogurt with maple syrup. It's also used in many dishes to get this sweet-sour-salty taste: meat (pork ribs), salads, often in bean dishes, etc.

2 Niagara Falls Niagara Falls is a city in Ontario, Canada. It is located on the western bank of the Niagara River in the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario, with a population of 82,997 at the 2011 census.

I'm just saying that this should not be number two! It is also in the USA and les chutes montmorency in Quebec are better. There are lots of Canadian natural wonders that are better than this, like Banff and Jasper, the bay of fundy, great bear rainforest, Dinosaurs Provincial Park, mount Logan and the Bruce peninsula. Not saying that the Niagara Falls suck, it's just maybe Banff or Jasper should be up here on the list!

Where I call home. Took a walk along the Niagara River and the falls tonight, in fact.

8 Kind People

Everyone's nice in Canada. Science has proved this fact many times.

One of the reasons I would go to there. by the way, the listmaker is Canadian and he's kind too!

9 Health Care System

The pandemic has clearly displayed the bloated incompetence and bureaucracy of the Canadian healthcare system. Sadly it's an example of how governments fail to even recognize let alone respond to inefficiency and failure in the process of administering healthcare. Our doctors, nurses and support staff do a great job but are hindered by government's inability to prioritize. Healthcare workers were fired for failing to take unapproved vaccines, government has no process in place to assess qualified immigrant healthcare professionals and Canadian doctors spend fifty percent of the time filling out private insurance companies paperwork. Typical bloated incompetence at the management level.
