Top Ten Things Christmas Isn't About

The Top Ten
1 Santa Claus

Since it seems some people are getting confused, I thought I would just clear up the fact that I am not saying these things aren't part of Christmas, I am simply saying that they are not the central idea of Christmas. Christmas is about Jesus coming to earth, and eventually sacrificing himself for our sins. It is about Gods perfect love for us.

Open your Bible and look for the word Christmas, then in your Bible look for Jesus Christ date of birth.
Don't cheat with a Children's Bible, use the King James Bible.
Tell me where did most of the Christmas things you use come from? Saturnalia, Germanic Winter Solstice or Yule.
Santa Claus is based on Saint Nicolas.

Christmas is not about religion its about having a break, a holiday, having fun. Santa Claus is for the kids and his real name is Father Christmas.

2 Giving

This one will be quite controversial. People always say " Christmas isn't about getting, it's about giving! " But let's face it, the statement "Christmas is about giving" is no more true than " Christmas is about getting". Giving is obviously a great thing, but don't be fooled.

It is exactly about giving. The giving of a gift to a special person or people represents the gifts the Three Wise Men brought to baby Jesus.

Jesus is God's ultimate gift to humanity.

4 Jesus Christ Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, Palestine. He was born to Mary, as the bible says "she was found with child of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 1:18). He was both man and God (John 20:28). According to the bible He is God alone (Deuteronomy 6:4).

According To The Christian Bible, Jesus' purpose on Earth was redemption and salvation. While He was on Earth he healed the sick, brought the dead back to life, forgave sins, died on the cross for the world, and gave us a pathway to salvation. ...read more.

It's a rather lame name for Jesus birthday did you know "mas" means "go away" so its Christ Go Away. So lets stick to the real holidays Saturnalia and Yule.
Saturnalia: God Saturn and Yule: God Odin. Who are older than Christian God and Jesus and Pan is laughing at Satan.

The Catholic Church banned all Paganism in ancient times but Saturnalia/Yule was too popular that it wasn't banned and turned into Christmas and they made it up as Jesus Christ birthday because he didn't have a birthdate in the Bible.

When he was really born on an unknown birth date in Spring or Summer.
There is no such thing as Christmas in the Bible.
It's about Saturn (Saturnalia) and Odin (Yule) who existed BEFORE I REPEAT BEFORE THE BIBLE..

Sorry but its Yule celebrated in December, but Catholics stole it and turned it into a Christian holiday and is now known as Christmas. Jesus isn't born in December.

Even though the early Church didn't celebrate birthdays, considering them a Pagan custom?
Even though December 25th is actually Mithra's birthday?
Even though Christmas is actually a mix of multiple Pagan holidays and celebrations, like Saturnalia and Yule?
What day was Jesus born on does it say in the Bible?

WRONG it's a Roman Pagan/Celtic Pagan holiday originally but it couldn't be banned because of popularity and because Jesus did not have a birth date in the Bible so they made it into the Birth of Jesus.

Wrong! Jesus Is the Reason for the Season. In order to keep Christ in Christmas, one must keep MASS in Christmas as well.
