Top Ten Things that Goths and Metalheads Have in Common

I'm just comparing hardcore metalheads and goths and not metalheads that aren't huge fan of metal so please don't say something like "I'm a metalhead and this didn't happen to me"

The Top Ten

1 They both love the color black

2 They both listen to rock and metal

I'm a goth and I listen to those genres as well as emo, alternative and dubstep

3 Some of them wear black clothes most of the time

Actually I wear a lot blue.

4 They are both misunderstood as being depressed

My brothers (both serious metalheads) have never ever been described as being "depressed". They are always joking around and having a laugh. They're both just really fun-loving, easy-going, genuinely happy men.
People need to know metalheads before they pass judgement on them.

Well shoot, no wonder my high school years were so weird.

5 They are both accused of worshiping satan

Except I was never accused of this and if I ever did I wouldn't find it offensive. I just find it incredibly funny that people still think like that.

6 They both listen to non-mainstreem music

7 They both like creepy things

8 They are both mistaken as emos

It's kind of annoying when people mistake me for emo. Not that I have anything against emos, I even think they're cool.😎 It's just that there are so many differences between emos and goths, I don't know how you can't tell them apart.

9 Some of them experience bullying because of what they like

10 They both like horror movies
