This is a big one. Many shows are unsuccessful at keeping interesting as the characters are repetitive and we get tired of their old antics and ways. This is where some shows (mostly drama) lack when they don't have strong character developments that are refreshing for viewers and contribute to the ultimate development of the shows themselves.
