Top Ten Things That Non-Sports Fans Have to Cope With

I'm not a fan of most sports. Most of this is about the Super Bowl, which I'm not interested in. by the way, the latest Pearls Before Swine comic had me laughing.
The Top Ten
1 Friends and/or people nearby who are sports fans arguing

Oh yeah, I do this with hockey. My poor friend can always be found sitting in the corner, eating a bag of Dorito's while me and my other friend argue NHL trades and rules.

Like when you are in school during Super-Bowl season and people won't shut up about which team is gonna win, etc.

Instead of having more meaningful conversations all many talk about is sports

I like using a laptop more than a hockey stick! Now they are gonna fight with me!

2 They might just have to watch the Super Bowl anyway

Especially if they are at a friend's/relative's house.

3 It takes up several blocks of television

I really hate this, especially during baseball season and especially on the FOX channel. You want to watch your favorite program and guess what? The sports are there. Baseball is the worst because it goes over its television block most of the time.

4 Crappy Super Bowl Commercials
5 The big sports events get all over the news

Fox news thinks the super bowl is more important than war or other major issues.

Super Bowl, Olympics, World Cup, it don't matter. The news will talk about.

6 Possibly being dragged to the sporting event

My dad once dragged me to a local baseball game. What's really stupid is he all of a sudden cared about sports at that very moment just because I've never been to a baseball stadium and seen a game before. I would rather watch it on T.V..

7 Sports fans care about it like it is something divine, when non-sports fans think it is just a game that has no real world impact on the world
8 Possible social awkwardness

Being around sports fans as a non-sports fan makes you the odd-man-out. They'll persuade you if it's the last thing on their mind.
