Things People Hate Because of Their Fanbase

Although many of the things on this list are more loved than hated, a lot of their haters hate them because of their fanbase.
The Top Ten
1 Cuphead

"Fanbase"
You mean the 5-10 people who have actually played it? Out of something like 20 who have heard of it? Look, I like it, but you're more likely to find someone who's played a Bubsy game (or even knows that there WERE other games besides 3D) than someone who's played this.
Rating on Fame Scale: 2/10; borderline 1

I really do hate that it overshadowed Hollow Knight, but it's still a decent game in its own right

It looks good but who thought this game wouldn't grow a terrible fanbase?

All it reason it killing to old cartoon fan.

2 Fortnite

I used to not really care much about Fortnite, had played it a couple times but I found it kinda boring. Then I met someone who was obsessed with this game. Every damn night he would watch some person named daequan play this game and then play the game afterwards. Why would you even watch playthroughs? Before I start ranting, I’ll end with this- I didn’t care much about this game before and had even played it a few times. Then I met someone who was obsessed with the game and who I also immensely disliked and now I hate this game. I hate it with a passion.

I love the game but now it's meh but my friends won't shut up about it so I always lie I go to black ops super immature idiots I'm not able to play until like A YEAR BROS A THIS IS SUS DUDO THIS SHOULD BE NUMBER 1 sit it's already anyway game medium fan base TRASH SOY

I actually like Fortnite, it's pretty fun. And some fortnite fans can be really toxic and obnoxious, but a lot of them are actually pretty chill.

Amazing game but some of the fans do suck. But from what I've seen a lot of haters are much worse.

3 My Little Pony My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The show follows a studious unicorn (later an alicorn) pony named Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain), Fluttershy (Andrea Libman), Rainbow Dash (Ball), Pinkie Pie (Libman), and dragon assistant Spike (Cathy Weseluck). They travel on adventures and help others around Equestria while solving problems that arise in their own friendships.

Maybe it's because haters don't know what they're missing. Take for example IHE from YouTube who is one the haters. I disagree with critics like IHE who would want to bash the show because of their vicious opinions against bronies. They may be bullies, but their hatred won't stop me from watching a kid's cartoon show based on a Hasbro toy franchise. I'm not going let the hatred get in the way. So don't force me to be influenced by your opinions.

The fanbase for this show is nasty. I've never been a fan but the fanbase is so bad that I wouldn't even consider giving it a chance.

I never cared for this show but most of it's haters seem to hate it because of it's fanbase

I love the show but I hate the fanbase... too much cringe and porn

4 Undertale

I haven't played the whole game but I remember thinking it was quite good, however the fanbase makes it look like Quest For Glory when it really isn't

Never played the game but I remember this game being really popular back in 2015 and 2016 but it got tons of hate due to how bad it's fanbase was.

5 Minecraft

Most of the negative comments on Minecraft here mention the fanbase, which, as bad as it may be, doesn't affect the game.

I adore Minecraft! I definitely hate how everyone judges this game by the fanbase, you can still enjoy good ol' survival and creative mode

This game is stupidly overhated. The fanbase sucks, but it isn't a bad game?

Okay game but the fanbase indeed does suck.

They were quite influential and are still popular today even after breaking up in 1970 but they do get some hate because their fans treat them as if they are greater than god.Not really into classic rock or classic pop but I do respect them. But their fans get on my nerves and a lot of them are one of those dumbass "I was born in the wrong generation" kids.

I'm surprised there's still so much interest in The Beatles on these lists. I don't hate The Beatles - I used to be a huge fan of their music - but the fans here are obnoxious.

I dislike them as I do not like their music

Just overrated.

12 Internet

I like internet and is good

13 Zootopia

This movie's great but overrated. And the fanbase is awful but just watch the movie and you will see it's good.

No, I hate it because of uncolorful setting, SJW moments and how inapproiprate certain scenes are (nude scene anyone? )
