Top Ten Things Schools Say They Do, But Actually Don't

The Top Ten
1 Stop bullying

There's bullying everywhere in my school, I rarely get bullied these days because I'm one of the more popular kids but every day or 2nd day I always have to end up sticking up for random kids who are getting pummelled.

Yeah... they do the bare minimum. Just hang up posters people ignore and don't help at all and when you go to the principal, they just believe the bully.

That's college.
They make sure no bullying in college.

I don’t think any teacher could care less when you or another person is being bullied. All they do is put up a bunch of stupid posters that no one is gonna notice, but when you actually go to them for help, they either don’t believe you or just don’t care.

2 Don't discriminate

The coronavirus and 9/11 are the worst cases because that's when a lot of discrimination started.

Especially after coronavirus/9/11, minorites are more likely to go to the principals

What does that mean

3 Care about students

That is an obvious lie. Teachers don’t care if students are being bullied or suffering from anxiety/depression. They care about being paid.

4 Give a fair amount of homework

Story of my life, they literally give me tons of homework that no one can do in 3 hours. You either have to rush it or count it as late.

You can always not do them...

5 Clean the bathrooms

Before my school shut down, someone threw a dildo into the toilets at my school.

6 Prepare students to deal with life's issues

No, all they are doing is giving students issues.

The bullies do a better job at it ironically.

7 Give students healthy lunches

Blame ms. obama. And the lunches are either too healthy or too junk, no in-between, no in between heart attack giving pizza and carrots. That means no Lucky Charms and that type of stuff.

Yeah, because pizza, chips, cookies and pop is totally healthy.

And breakfasts, too.

8 Actually teach

They teach us stuff we can just search on the internet and other times they lie straight to your face, like there were people before Chris Columbus to go to America... and the Titanic is dwarf by today's standards.

Depends on the teacher. My physics teachers over the years were brilliant, and we did a lot to impress each other. My gym and religious studies teachers, on the other hand...

Some just stick a booklet in your face, then proceed to text on their phones while the whole class has no idea what to do.

Okay, it depends on the teachers...most of mine aren't amazing but my PE teacher was chill and

9 Guidance counseling

You can get better counseling from Moe's Tavern than literally any school in America

10 Discipline students

They do it but pretty unfairly, missing a question off your homework is a bigger punishment that beating up a kid.

The Contenders
11 Respect each other

"I'm calling your parents" used to cut it for bullies who get spanked when they get home, but due to most bullies relying on lineament legal guardians and spanking more frowned upon, it doesn't cut it anymore.

Because they think that yelling at kids is considered as "respectful"

12 Don't mock kids

I don’t have any experiences with a teacher mocking me, but we had a supply teacher one day and he asked for song requests even though he not only turned down someone else’s request, but when I gave mine, he started mocking the singer. The students do the exact same thing!

13 Give phone calls to the middle school teacher about who got beat up at the beginning of every year.
