Maybe if it got better instead of worse maybe it could last forever. But as of today, Pop is only getting worse and more people are starting to turn away from it.

There will always be pop music, by definition it is whatever is popular at the current time. However, POP music as it is defined today will have a fairly short lifespan.

Maybe if there was much more good pop artists it can stay otherwises they way it is now no thanks
