Depends on the students. I know many who aren't into metal.
We're not devil worshipers. We just like to rock out to the awesome music and enjoy the messages the metal song has to give you (and I know what you're all thinking now. All metal talks about is worshiping satan. No. There are a lot more metal songs about love stories, political stories, historical stories, fantasies, there are even metal songs that have positive messages and talk about being happy with life! ). Heck there's even Christian metal out there. Christian metal bands that worship god and jesus christ and try to help others. Now do you think metal is all just devil worship?

It depends. Many things have changed over time. Currently some metal musicians don't have any visible tattoos. On average, rappers today probably have more tattoos than the metal guys.

Heavy Metal is often pretty good, although Death Metal, Black Metal, and Screamo take some getting used to, but ANYTHING, repeat, ANYTHING is better than Rap.
