Top Ten Things We Never Used to Like but Do Now

Has it ever crept up on you, something you loathed when you were younger but you really quite like now? Three of the items are mine but the others are submitted by others. Add your own if you feel like it :)

1 Lupe Fiasco Wasalu Muhammad Jaco (born February 16, 1982), better known by his stage name Lupe Fiasco, is an American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. He rose to fame in 2006 following the success of his debut album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor. He also performs as the frontman of rock band Japanese Cartoon under his real name. As an entrepreneur, Fiasco is the chief executive officer of 1st & 15th Entertainment.

When I was a kid/teen I never really liked Lupe Fiasco, but now he is one of my favorite rappers.

2 Hopsin Marcus Jamal Hopson, better known by his stage name Hopsin, is an American rapper, record producer, director and actor from Los Angeles, California. Hopsin was born on July 18, 1985. His first album was called Emurge but he's best known for his album titled Raw.

When I was younger I just hopped on the "Hopsin is corny" bandwagon, but then I actually took the time to really listen to him...

3 Michael Jackson Michael Jackson (Michael Joseph Jackson; August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer, dancer, and songwriter. He passed away from cardiac arrest caused by a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose on June 25, 2009. He donated (at least) a remarkable 500,000,000 dollars to charity. Michael is also known as The King of Pop (a title given to him by Elizabeth Taylor) or under the initials MJ. I loved him ever since I was a kid. I still do.

4 A particular music genre

A few music genres have recently blessed my ears...but I know I will never take to Irish Folk. Just won't happen.

8 Johnny Cash John R. "Johnny" Cash (1932-2003) was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and author, who was widely considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide. He died of complications from diabetes in 2003. It was suggested that Cash's health worsened due to a broken heart over his second wife's death.

I never used to like his voice. But in the past few months, listening to the sincerity of his voice and the lyrics to his songs, I've felt a warmth for him.

I liked her ever since I was a kid.

Well I never hated him, I just never cared for him, but then I fell in love with Kirby once I finally gave his games a shot, now I think he's my favorite video game character!
