They wouldn't wanna honor a competitor with more skeletons in his closet than Pinhead from Hellraiser. But what WWE wants us to forget, is more difficult than they think. Chris Benoit regardless of what he accomplished over his career, could never be forgotten. He will always be The Crippler to ECW fans. He will always be the Wolverine to WCW fans, he will always be Mr. Toothless Aggression to WWE fans. And he will always be remembered by any fans who was either there ta watch it, live it, or remember The Monday Night War.

Following the news of Benoit's death the whole McMahon tribute show was dropped and instead the 3 hour show was dedicated to Chris Benoit highlighting his best matches before actually knowing the circumstances surrounding his and his family's death.
