9 Butterflies Butterflies are part of the class of insects in the order Lepidoptera, along with the moths. Adult butterflies have large, often brightly coloured wings, and conspicuous, fluttering flight.

They look super cute, but they cannot be touched because their fur is urticating and will cause irritation, and underneath them are venomous spines, and if they get you, then for 12 hours to 5 days, you’ll be in unimaginable pain.

It’s believed to feel like being in a car accident while being shot everywhere and burned by a wall of fire and melting.

Not to mention the spines break off the caterpillar and stick onto your skin, pumping venom, continuing to deliver pain, along with headaches, abdominal aches, difficulty breathing, abnormal heart rhythm, and a trip to the hospital.

Thankfully no one was reported to die, but don’t even think about touching these things no matter how tempting they look.
