Best Tight End Tandems Coming Into the 2019 Season

The Top Ten
1 O.J. Howard & Cameron Brate (Buccaneers)

The Duo has combined for more yards and touchdowns than anybody in the league since being paired up. Two almost dominant like players for an offense that had potential, but now loses some weapons, but not its two tight end set that hits the strongest of any team out there.

2 Jack Doyle & Eric Ebron (Colts)

Last season was stunning Jack Doyle was dealing with a secret injury and the star ended up being the former Lions bust Eric Ebron having THE most touchdowns of any Tight End that season (sigh). With a more healthy Jack Doyle, and Eborn and a lot of those emerging playing in that crops Colts got themselves some tall guys toe plead case they have such a strong offense indeed then we ever fought.

3 Zach Ertz & Dallas Goedert (Eagles)

Zach Ertz one of the best in the game, Dallas Goedert may not be quite like Ertz, but a pretty solid backup to say the least especially setting up for blocking measures he helps in that predicament.

4 Kyle Rudolph & Irv Smith Jr. (Vikings)

With trading speculation around Kyle Rudolph that’s gonna be an interesting development for sure when mid-season trade talks happen could he be a casualty? Irv Smith Jr. not sure if he’ll live up to his father, but coming from Bama is there anything to expect since most players at least 60% of those players are still on a team at least.

5 Jordan Reed & Vernon Davis (Redskins)

When healthy Jordan Reed can be a good to Great Tight End as seen in the past, and that might be what Dwayne Haskins or Case Keenum needs to go to the most perhaps if you don’t trust you inexperienced receiving core. Vernon Davis is a veteran of the game that just keeps on going and there are times he still plays that great instinct of football years ago when he first started out in the league.

6 Jeff Heuerman & Noah Fant (Broncos)

Heuerman emerge as a big weapon to go towards the 2nd half of 2018, and could continue, but without controversy however he could get reduced carried now thanks to drafting Noah Fant knowing his more of a catch Tight End that will be something to watch with this duo.

7 T.J. Hockenson & Jesse James (Lions)

Well Bob Quinn made it his goal he wanted to fix something that he knew would failed last season in Tight End by committee. This time he signs Jessie James former (Steeler) and draft T.J. Hockinson with his first picks. I’ll admit I'm worried about this if it fails on their face. Hockinson is gonna be more of the blocking, and I actually think Jessie James is gonna be the guy catching more of the balls if i’m looking at this more by supporting blocks especially for the running game part of things.

8 Tyler Higbee & Gerald Everett (Rams)

An okay set of Tight End, but they do a good job for their blocks are forgiven. Average catching at best, but you could do efficiently with extra blocks than your offense becomes too good for its own sake suffocating defenses.

9 Will Dissly & Nick Vannett (Seahawks)

We only saw this duo for about what 3 to 4 games early on, and then both guys got nailed real good with their injuries derailed what could of been a very lethal duo that could be a healthy scrap this season and could be big for Russell Wilson knowing those receivers look very average at best.

10 George Kittle & Garrett Celek (49ers)

It’s mostly Kittle more less, but Celek is a serviceable Tight End though as well over the years when he was with Philly. They also go Levine Toilolo whose actually very underrated seeing the few times he was being underutilized with the Lions lasts season he does make quarterbacks better in terms of completing the ball.

I think that Ross Dwelley and George Kittle would be a better combo. Dwelley is younger and has been far more productive during preseason so far
