Their music is the most timeless for me. When I hear the Beatles, I think "oh, the 60s" because they sound so 60s. Led Zeppelin - so 70s. While most of the Queen songs don't sound like being made in a certain decade. That's why they are most timeless. Queen probably were also ahead of their time because they got more attention way later (even now) and not in the 70s. A survey in the UK has shown that Queen got to #1 Best British band circa 2012, replacing the Beatles.
