Autistic Game Critic Episode #19 - Tony Hawk Underground

bobbythebrony Hello my little nachos! Bobsicles is here with another game review. This time it's, in my opinion, the best game in the Tony Hawk skating series. That's right, it's Tony Hawk Underground! Now let's cut to the chase.

Tony Hawk Underground is about a young, talented skateboarder, whom you choose from a selection screen, from a rundown town in New Jersey. He and his now ex best friend Eric Sparrow hope to become famous pro skateboarders. The player manages to impress a famous skateboarder and gets a sponsor. He manages to win an amateur competition and become a celebrity. He makes it all the way to win a professional competition and becomes a pro. All the while, he deals with the betrayal of Eric.

Let's talk about Eric Sparrow. He's a classic douchebag. An ego-maniac who thinks he's better than everyone else, he can't handle the fact that his best friend beat him in the Tampa-Am. He betrays his friend after he pulls off a record-breaking jump in Hawaii. After he is beaten again in Russia, he spirals out of control. He is defeated for the last time back in New Jersey. Afterwards, he gets punched in the face.

My favorite part of the game is the creation mode. You can build your own skatepark and also skate at already built parks. You can also find hidden achievements by doing tricks, which you also do in the game. It's also interesting to note that you can also play the demo to a motorcycle racing game on the main menu screen.

Well that's the game for you. It's an awesome game as you can see. It's not a masterpiece so I rate it a nine out of ten. Still, it's a pleasure to play. Well this is bobbythebrony saying Til I see you again, watch your step.
