The Contenders: Page 6

101 Hercules

Way too low... Underrated movie

Masterpiece

Sadly, this movie is covered up by the newer Disney hits, including Moana and Zootopia. I feel like specifically Hercules and Tarzan receive less and less appreciation as Disney and Pixar release newer and flashier animated movies. - punyraisin

Sorry wrong movie I am thinking of emporars new groove

102 The Princess and the Frog

Disney needs to male more films like this.

Why sooo low I may not be the best movie ever but is 212 really necessary

103 The Aristocats
104 Pokemon the First Movie - Mewtwo vs. Mew

Lol nice joke everybody - Augustocannoli

Its at a very low position it should be on top

This is actually a great movie

This Is Good

105 Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

Honestly the most intriguing and mind-blowing movie I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. It's hard to fully grasp the concept of what's going on, but that's what makes it so great. If you're in for an emotional roller coaster with some action here and there, go check this gem out. However, it's not easily available in most of the world, which is truly heartbreaking. Please, someone license it (I'm looking at you, Funimation).

106 Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages V 2 Comments
107 Battle for Terra
108 The Wind Rises

I love Hayao Miyazaki's films because so much thought has been put into them. Most of his films are underrated but if you watch one, you end up loving all of them.

Thank you hayoa Miyazaki for bringing us a legacy of amazing films and I couldn't ask for a better send off because this is another one of his master peices

109 Robin Hood

Sure, this film had a low budget and obvious tracing scenes but it's still very good and it needs to be recognized more. Plus I think it got us all interested in the concept of anthro animals. - SailorSedna

ROBIN HOOD ========THE MAN WHO HELPS HIS TOWN

110 Castle in the Sky

Packed with adventure and absolutely captivating...

I love this film so much. Please put it higher.

111 It's Such a Beautiful Day

Just an amazing film. Not for kids though. Just a warning - Jonerman

This deserves so much more attention

This movie is Don Hertzfeldt's magnum opus; it is a roller coaster of nearly every emotion of the human psyche.

Bill is a stickman hez unhappy in it he is. that's the moovee. It's a good 1. Wtahc it please.

112 The Prince of Egypt

Amazing songs and conveyed the teachings in the Bible

This should be in the best 5. This film is stunning. Majestic. So great it doesn't feel you're watching a "kids" film cause its message it's so deep, and of life trascendence. Out of this world movie. I'm speechless.

It truly is a gorgeous film

113 Monsters vs. Aliens

CGI animation is a tough thing to do and for that I praise the Dreamworks CGI animation canon. Hand drawn animation isn't that spectacular. Anyone can do hand drawn animation. All you need is a pencil, paper and crayons. Many British cartoons from the 1970s such as Bod and Roobarb are hand drawn animations.

This is Dreamworks' satire on famous B-Movie Monsters including parodies of The Blob and 50ft Woman voiced by Seth Rogen and Reese Witherspoon respectively. - jezza0

As far as animated satire goes Monsters vs Aliens is pretty high on that pecking order.

Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Paul Rudd, Will Arnett, Reese Witherspoon and Ed Helms is only part of the ensemble of this B-Movie satire.

114 Batman: The Dark Knight Returns

This is not what comes to mind when you think of an animated film
otherwise it would be in the top 5s

115 Wakko's Wish
116 Disney's A Christmas Carol

This has such a score! The way it incorporates famous Christmas carols such as Joy to the World and Hark the Herald Angels Sing is breath-taking - jezza0

With Jim Carrey Multi-tasking as Scrooge and the 3 spirits who haunt him, he's shows just how versatile he is. - jezza0

I felt like this movie didn't try to do anything new in a year with a variety of different types of animated films most of which did something new

I didn't enjoy this movie, the animation looked too much like a video game cutscene and it felt much longer than it was for me

117 Batman: Under the Red Hood

This Batman film is more than amazing, it's a masterpiece

Not a kid movie but an amazing movie

This is my favorite movie! I should be first! Red Hood rocks! - LostDream258

118 Minions

This movie is with total comedy

Please No Haters

It isn't the best animated movie but it doesn't deserve this much hate, I liked it - PeeledBanana

so funny

119 Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

Probably the most popular of Aardman's creations in their firse feature length outing. - jezza0

The references to An American Werewolf in London just keep on coming in Wallace and Gromit's first feature length outing.

Haven't seen it but it looks better than the shaun the sheep movie wallace and gromit is better

An underrated classic, not the best but it is still a great movie - Augustocannoli

120 Mr. Peabody & Sherman

I'm really surprised this is so low. This a funny, adventurous, and had a lot of emotion. Honestly, the best movie I've ever seen.
