Everything's wrong here: Black Sabbath invented doom metal (bluesy) but not the entire metal - the rest of metal went non-bluesy. Motorhead has never been a metal band. The first thrash songs were written by Queen, so they invented it. I agree Anvil wrote thrash songs before the thrash explosion. - Metal_Treasure
