181 Sylosis

You only need to listen to the album 'Dormant Heart' to see why these Brits are the most aggressive, progressive, and technical thrash band on the planet now. Most of their albums are lengthy, but you won't even notice the 65+minutes go by. If you're impressed, then go grab the' Monolith' and 'Edge of the Earth' and their debut. These guys don't disappoint.

If they're already here, good. One of the best thrash metal bands going round.

182 Damageplan Damageplan Damageplan was an American heavy metal band from Dallas, Texas, formed in 2003. Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott wanted to start a new band. The band ended tragically when Dimebag Darrell was shot on stage in a show in Ohio.

Let us not forget, this was the last band to have Dimebag.

183 Melvins Melvins The Melvins are an American band that formed in 1983. They usually perform as a trio, but in recent years have performed as a four piece with two drummers.

They are epic, their songs always carry a certain message, always warn that there are serious problems in the world and encourage us to face them. Absolutely amazing artists.

Such an awesome band, there best songs gotta be Savior though, if you want an awesome band you should look these guys up.

Sorry, but RA is hardcore punk. Far from metal, I'm afraid. Amazing band though.

192 For Today For Today For Today is an American Christian metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa, formed in 2005. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records.

They have some of the sickest break downs and one of the most powerful and influential messages. And they are actually HEAVY metal. Full of screaming passion.
