270 August Burns Red August Burns Red August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Manheim, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2003, the group began their first performances while a majority of the members were attending their senior year of high school, and soon began playing shows around Lancaster, before being signed to CI Records. Afterwards, more.

They are more recent than a few of the other bands listed but I believe that August Burns Red should be in the top ten AT THE VERY LEAST. They have inspired me as a musician and as a person. They a great bunch of guys and they love their fans. Their music is beyond belief as they create such a great atmosphere when they perform live. They have technical riffs and they have brutal breakdowns. To top it all off their music is giving a positive message.

#236, seriously? These guys should be in the top two hundred. They definitely stand out in the metalcore genre and are not a 0-0-0-1 band, unlike Asking Alexandria. The guitar riffs are very melodic, brutal and technical and the lyrics are some of the most thought-provoking and positive ever. Their music is also atmospheric. - 3seven5

We all know Corey Taylor is a great singer. This is what no one can deny. Well. He is best in both slipknot and stone sour.

We all know that Corey Taylor is a great singer so in addition to slipknot, stone sour is a great band too.

I like no masks and stand and deliver metal. That's why I like these guys.

Great band Cory Taylor is the BEST

279 All Shall Perish

Listen to them and they'll define you real heavy metal. Whoa! Their lyrics are so cool and brutal! And their music hurts the ears but they'd not want to let your earphones/headphones drop! They make the heaviest and the most awesome heavy metal music one can ever imagine. All Shall Perish needs to be heard and voted. Thank you!

280 Protest the Hero

Yep, I have all their stuff now, and are one of fair few younger bands making exciting metal exciting again.

A new metal band but hell not to shabby look them up
