Top Ten Voice Actors

The Top Ten

1 Mel Blanc

Are you serious? He's Not here? He voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Woody Woodpecker, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin The Martian, Elmer Fudd, Coyote, Barney Rubble, Dino (Flinstones) Tweety Bird, Henery Hawk, Captain Caveman, Taz (Looney Tunes), Speedy Gonzalez and Many Many More! He's the greatest Voice Actor of All Time and you're telling me you people think that Patrick Warburton, an actor who uses the same voice like 10 times for 10 different characters is better than him? I don't think so. - JasperB

Arguably the most important and dedicated voice actor ever. He was a voice actor for over 4 decades and continued working until he sadly passed away. He even did some voice work for The Flintstones while in the hospital. RIP. - girlcool

HE started my love of VAing. I think he is a legend for his flexibility. Even if he voiced various characters in the same ep of Loney Tunes, and you can notice, it didn't matter. You were entertained, and that was important. That is what made many cartoons.

Why isn't this man number one? Seth Macfarlane above Blanc!?!? It really irks me that MacFarlane is extremely overrated. Yeah he voiced quite a few family guy characters and a couple American Dad characters. SO WHAT! That does not even compare to the many voices of Mel Blanc!

The magic God and mumbo jumbo and a mockingbird on teen titans go

Other then Mark Hamill, I can't think of anyone who deserves to be here. This guy has done so many amazing voices, and can fit into nearly every role.

Tom Kenny is Patchy the Pirate, Sponge bob Square Pants, and MORE stuff! I have no idea why HE is number 16! You People are just so bitchy! And some dumb asses to! Please go get your Brain CHECKED if you DON'T think he deserves to be #1

Tom Kenny Grey DeLisle & John DiMaggio are by far the best voice actors ever & need to be at the top of this list. The people st the top of list only did 1 or 2 voice over's these people are legends. GO TOM!

4 Tara Strong Tara Strong Tara Strong is a Canadian–American actress who has done work in numerous films and television series, both live-action and animated.

THE best voice actress (in my opinion). - girlcool

She is so talented and popular, not to mention her personality is kind and generous! She deserves to be this high up, if not higher! My personal favourite of her voices is twilight sparkle from my little pony friendship is magic! Keep going Tara!

She's voiced Dill Pickles, Twilight Sparkle, Bat Girl, Timmy Turner, Ben 10, and TONS more voice acting, both background and straight up. She's one of the best voice actors of this decade!

So this overrated woman is above June Foray, Jess Harnell, Rob Paulsen, Tom Kenny, Frank Welker, Kevin Michael Richardson, Keith Ferguson, Jim Cummings, John DiMaggio, Grey Delisle, Dee Bradley Baker, Harry Shearer, Dan Castalanetta, Hank Azaria, Mark Hamill-OH WHY SHOULD I BOTHER - 445956

5 Dan Castellaneta Dan Castellaneta

What?! He does dozens of voices on the Simpsons including Homer, Krusty, and Grandpa. He also does the Robot Devil on Futurama. How is he possibly at number 24? How is he not number one?

What the hell. How is this man, who voices tons of characters with different distinct voices behind Mark Hamil. He also is amazing in how is voice has held up after all his years on the Simpsons. Sure, being able to do Darty Vader is cool, just breathing ya know, but this guy can do it all.

LOOK HIM UP he does the voice of
-Homer Simpson -Grandpa Simpson -Barney Gumble -Krusty the Clown
-Groundskeeper Willie -Hans Moleman -Sideshow Mel -Itchy -Kodos
-The Pimple faced teen -Gill Gunderson just from the simpsons he also toulk rolls in Darkwing Duck, Earthworm Jim, Hey Arnold, Futurama and LOTS more

7 Seth Mcfarlane

Listen to his performance of Stewie Griffin pretending to be Brian in season 5 episode 5 when Stewie is talking to Jillian on the phone. Fantastic job done by Seth there. - steelersrock7

Sexy, gorgeous voice, amazing singer, voiced Brian, Peter, and Stewie Griffin. Quagmire, Tom Tucker, Roger the Alien, Stan Smith, and tim the Bear. Not to mention random appearances on Robot Chicken - MoldySock

Stop being mean to this guy! He may not be the best, but at least he puts effort into his voices and he seems like a nice person! This seems more like someone who overhated than someone who is overrated.

He's the best, good actor, good characters, good singing, good dancing and good looking what's not to love he looks so young for his age

8 Grey DeLisle Grey DeLisle Erin Grey Van Oosbree, credited as Grey DeLisle and Grey Griffin, is an American voice actress and singer-songwriter.

I grew up watching the shows she voiced major characters in: Avatar the Last Airbender, Fairly Oddparents, and the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy just to name a few.
Her voice was basically my childhood and I do believe people sell her short. Heck, some of the shows I saw on her wiki, I realized after the fact "Oh yeah! That was her! " She is able to breathe life into a character like few can.

Azula,Vicky,Mandy and much more other Cartoon Characters!

I love her in avatar the last airbender - BreakFastBeast2005

She deserves to be on this list more than anyone. She's practically voiced 100 characters every year. She can voice any character and make is probably offered a character in every good animated show.
She's been Azula, Vicky the babysitter, Catwoman, and thousands of others.

He's hilarious! - Kevinsidis

This guy may not have been much of a voice actor, but he did have a great voice in general - CommentandList

He's the best Joker ever! I didn't even know it was him!

Ok, after this man played luke skywalker (not voice acting) he went on to play THE most recognizable, THE most famous and, might I say, THE best super villains of all time. He not only played the joker, he BECAME the joker. On the spur of the moment he can slip into character. And when he slips into character he doesn't bring him to life, no no, he TRANSFORMS into the joker. Has anyone seen this man as he works, slap makeup on that poor fellow and put HIM in the next reboot of batman- as the joker of course.

16 Jim Cummings Jim Cummings

Jim Cummings is not even in the top ten? Have you guys seen his resume? He has voiced Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck, Scar from The Lion King, Peg Leg Pete, Negaduck, Ray the firefly, Steele from Balto, and many, many more. He's got a very wide range of voices and deserves to be in the top twenty because of that. Heck, he deserves to be in the top ten. Much more so than voice actors who use the same voice over and over again, like James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman (both of which are great actors might I add).

He's got a pretty large filmography, and can do some good voices.

Winnie the Pooh AND Tigger too -

He's my favourite voice actor because he voiced my favourite character, Mr. Bumpy.

most of the people on this list (except hank azaria, dan castalaneta, tom kenny, charlie adler, e. g daily and a few others) are just actors who did one voice acting role. Mike Judge is the voice behind beavis, butt-head, mr anderson, buzzcut, mcvicker, van driessen, the burger world manager, the maximart clerk, stewarts dad and stacks of one off characters on beavis and butt-head. he's also genius enough to voice hank hill on king of the hill and Gerald goode on the goode family. what a legend. - CrowdedChisel

Considering he voiced Raphael on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Carl Wheezer on Jimmy Neutron, Fowlmouth and Arnold on Tiny Toons, Pinky on Pinky and the Brain, and his most notable role... She was such a great voice actress, and I think she was a better Timmy Turner. RIP Mrs. Bergman

RIP Ms. Bergman :,(

How you died was so tragic. If you were still alive, you would've been in so much more stuff. You had an amazing vocal range on South Park, did a great job doing Jessie's yodeling in Toy Story 2, and was, in my opinion, a better voice for Timmy Turner. Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, and various Hannah-Barbera characters. This guy should be Number 2, right under Mel Blanc, another awesome voice actor.

He actually created Donald Ducks voice! While making other sounds on the farm. Walt Disney created Donald after hearing Nash do the voice on the radio, then had him do the voice in a private audition. After that, he made many animal vocals for movies and cartoons in more than just Donald Duck. He did the original meows for Tom (from Tom and Jerry), the low raspy voice for the rough house statue guy in "Pinocchio," a croaky voice for a frog in "Bambi," barking sounds for dogs in "101 Dalmations," and more meows, along with horse neighs, crows, and most of all, bird tweets, most noticably in "Cinderella" and a lot of other Disney shorts and movies. His last unique animal role (other than Donald) was a bear in "The Fox and the Hound," now you should recognize that sound, he's used it in many many other shorts and I even heard it in a "Family Guy" episode. How I know all of this is from Disney wikia and an episode of the original "Disneyland" television series, "A day in the life of ...more
