Top Ten Voice Actorskc8126
The Top Ten
If we are talking sheer talent Mal Blanc deserves the #1 spot by a LONG shot! He wasn't just the god of voice acting, he was an incredible actor period! To bad his son Noel Blanc isn't higher on this list, very talented in his own right.
Are you serious? He's Not here? He voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Woody Woodpecker, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin The Martian, Elmer Fudd, Coyote, Barney Rubble, Dino (Flinstones) Tweety Bird, Henery Hawk, Captain Caveman, Taz (Looney Tunes), Speedy Gonzalez and Many Many More! He's the greatest Voice Actor of All Time and you're telling me you people think that Patrick Warburton, an actor who uses the same voice like 10 times for 10 different characters is better than him? I don't think so. - JasperB
Arguably the most important and dedicated voice actor ever. He was a voice actor for over 4 decades and continued working until he sadly passed away. He even did some voice work for The Flintstones while in the hospital. RIP. - girlcool
HE started my love of VAing. I think he is a legend for his flexibility. Even if he voiced various characters in the same ep of Loney Tunes, and you can notice, it didn't matter. You were entertained, and that was important. That is what made many cartoons.
Although I dislike Spongebob (yes, I do), he makes a great Ice King in Adventure Time!
I Thank You!
Tom Kenny is Patchy the Pirate, Sponge bob Square Pants, and MORE stuff! I have no idea why HE is number 16! You People are just so bitchy! And some dumb asses to! Please go get your Brain CHECKED if you DON'T think he deserves to be #1
The magic God and mumbo jumbo and a mockingbird on teen titans go
What?! He does dozens of voices on the Simpsons including Homer, Krusty, and Grandpa. He also does the Robot Devil on Futurama. How is he possibly at number 24? How is he not number one?
LOOK HIM UP he does the voice of
-Homer Simpson -Grandpa Simpson -Barney Gumble -Krusty the Clown
-Groundskeeper Willie -Hans Moleman -Sideshow Mel -Itchy -Kodos
-The Pimple faced teen -Gill Gunderson just from the simpsons he also toulk rolls in Darkwing Duck, Earthworm Jim, Hey Arnold, Futurama and LOTS more
HE DESERVES #1
The voice of Homer J. Simpson -
Barney Gumble is more of a legend than Twilight Sparkle ever will be BURP!
She is so talented and popular, not to mention her personality is kind and generous! She deserves to be this high up, if not higher! My personal favourite of her voices is twilight sparkle from my little pony friendship is magic! Keep going Tara!
She's voiced Dill Pickles, Twilight Sparkle, Bat Girl, Timmy Turner, Ben 10, and TONS more voice acting, both background and straight up. She's one of the best voice actors of this decade!
So this overrated woman is above June Foray, Jess Harnell, Rob Paulsen, Tom Kenny, Frank Welker, Kevin Michael Richardson, Keith Ferguson, Jim Cummings, John DiMaggio, Grey Delisle, Dee Bradley Baker, Harry Shearer, Dan Castalanetta, Hank Azaria, Mark Hamill-OH WHY SHOULD I BOTHER - 445956
She is so overrated and untalented there are so many better voice actors out there. At least Mel Blanc is higher than her.
Frank walker is the best voice actor ever he has been in the most voice acting roles then anybody he is one of the greatest ever
Thank You Frank for making my childhood a great one
Best voice actor for the past 30 years. Both animal and human.
Should be number one he did voices in countless movies and cartoons. - egnomac
Why is that Seth dude any better than this guy? The voice of Lincoln Loud is apparently better than Jim Cummings? I should just leave this list alone because you voters know nothing about voice acting, Tara Strong above him is an even bigger joke. - 445956
The best to play an evil character!
Of course. That's why he's always typecast as the villain in voice acting. - SourNote2014
He voices the Joker, Tamino, Skips, Stickybeard and skekTek. His range and talent is incredible. - SourNote2014
He's hilarious! - Kevinsidis
This guy may not have been much of a voice actor, but he did have a great voice in general - CommentandList
He definitely is better than Tara Strong.
Billy is number one
This guy should be nuber one, not these onetimers.
"Oh, joy! "
"Shut up and take my money! "
"Good news everyone! "
This guy can do anything with his voice, he can sing too
Listen to his performance of Stewie Griffin pretending to be Brian in season 5 episode 5 when Stewie is talking to Jillian on the phone. Fantastic job done by Seth there. - steelersrock7
Sexy, gorgeous voice, amazing singer, voiced Brian, Peter, and Stewie Griffin. Quagmire, Tom Tucker, Roger the Alien, Stan Smith, and tim the Bear. Not to mention random appearances on Robot Chicken - MoldySock
Stop being mean to this guy! He may not be the best, but at least he puts effort into his voices and he seems like a nice person! This seems more like someone who overhated than someone who is overrated.
his voice made darth vader darth vader. - Flyingcobra
Wow! His voice is the most distinct I've ever heard! - LadyLioness
Once a stutterer like me, now famous for Darth Vader.
I stutter since I was 8 years old and I still stutter but it's great and I'm proud of his achievement and career especially when he's known for his dubbed voice of Darth Vader. - Kevinsidis
The force is strong with this one.
I grew up watching the shows she voiced major characters in: Avatar the Last Airbender, Fairly Oddparents, and the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy just to name a few.
Her voice was basically my childhood and I do believe people sell her short. Heck, some of the shows I saw on her wiki, I realized after the fact "Oh yeah! That was her! " She is able to breathe life into a character like few can.
She deserves to be on this list more than anyone. She's practically voiced 100 characters every year. She can voice any character and make is probably offered a character in every good animated show.
She's been Azula, Vicky the babysitter, Catwoman, and thousands of others.
She may not be the best, but she sure does put in more effort than Tara "the Twat" Strong.
Azula,Vicky,Mandy and much more other Cartoon Characters!
Look no further than Pizza Steve and Sam I-Am and you'll see what an incredible voice acting talent he is. - SourNote2014
He's just plain awesome. One of if not the best since 1997. Bender from Futurama, Jake from Adventure Time, Shnitzel from Chowder, dozens of video games. Oh yeah, and he's also the spokesperson for Booking.com commercials.
Bender, Jake the Dog, countless video games.
Favorite voice actor of all time. My favorite one of his roles was Marcus Fenix.
The Joker Batman Under The Red Hood
Moe, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Comic Book Guy, Sea Captain, and Bumblebee Man
He does a funny job peroforming on The Simpsons!
A true professional with a voice of gold.
This guys could narrate an ant's life, and make me interested. Should be #1.
I love his voice
He have the best voice ever
She is the one who yells Seymour when playing Agnes Skinner, and I am grateful for that - 445956
There are so many great things I can say about Tress MacNeille that I just can't stop saying! She was in so many shows in my childhood and all of her roles are favorite.
Daisy Duck, Dot Warner, Babs Bunny, Hello Nurse, Marita Hippo, Colleen, Rhubella Rat, Agnes Skinner, Mom, Pepper, Tiny Tim, Charolette, Chip, Dale, Gadget, Penelope Pussycat, and so many more that I just can't list them all! Thank you Tress for being a part of my childhood. You so should be up in the Top 10s!
Dot! :) She was also Mindy's Mom on Animaniacs and Hello Nurse on Animaniacs - Animaniacs1Fan
She voiced Dot Warner, Babs Bunny, Hello Nurse, Gadget And Chip from Rescue Rangers, and a lot of simpsons and futrama charcters. Why wasn't she on the list before this? - mrcoolface
Jim Cummings is not even in the top ten? Have you guys seen his resume? He has voiced Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck, Scar from The Lion King, Peg Leg Pete, Negaduck, Ray the firefly, Steele from Balto, and many, many more. He's got a very wide range of voices and deserves to be in the top twenty because of that. Heck, he deserves to be in the top ten. Much more so than voice actors who use the same voice over and over again, like James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman (both of which are great actors might I add).
He's got a pretty large filmography, and can do some good voices.
Winnie the Pooh AND Tigger too -
Jim ABSOLUTELY should be in the top 10. His range is amazing and has been a STAPLE of cartoons for the past 30 years
He was such a good man, God bless his soul.
Genie in Aladdin
Batty in Ferngully -
If I would have met him, I'd bet that I would never have a friend like him!
All you guys sad he's dead. He ain't dead. He's just waiting for us to roll a 5 or 8.
most of the people on this list (except hank azaria, dan castalaneta, tom kenny, charlie adler, e. g daily and a few others) are just actors who did one voice acting role. Mike Judge is the voice behind beavis, butt-head, mr anderson, buzzcut, mcvicker, van driessen, the burger world manager, the maximart clerk, stewarts dad and stacks of one off characters on beavis and butt-head. he's also genius enough to voice hank hill on king of the hill and Gerald goode on the goode family. what a legend. - CrowdedChisel
Not only does he do hank he also does Boomhauer and almost all of the assorted voices on all his shows (small lines like a news anchor, or a cop "these boys arnt drunk they're just stupid! " "huh huh, were wasted dude.")
I mean come on, he's Cartman! - kennymccormick2169
He's Cartman, Stan, Randy, Clyde, Mr. Garrison, Timmy, Jimmy, Mr. Mackey, Phillip, Ned, Officer Barbrady, Sgt. Yates, and Mr. Hankey.
Almost forget about Tuong Lu Kim, Scott Tenorman, Satan, and Gary and Kim Jong Il from Team America: World Police.
Jerome from Family Guy (among MANY others), various Simpsons characters, Cleveland Brown Jr., Principal Lewis in American Dad, Trigon from Teen Titans (the good series! ), Emmy nominated for the Joker. "Amazing" is an understatement!
Various characters from the Simpsons and Gravity Falls, the Joker and Chairman Drek
Does anyone notice that he kind of looks like Principal Lewis? That is just awesome!
The funny cop from gravity falls
2 words, Trevor Phillips
It's astonishing how much Steven Ogg looks and sounds like Grand Theft Auto V's Trevor Phillips in real life.
He perfectly embodied Grand Theft Auto V's Trevor Phillips
His range and comic timing is incredible.
He has unbelievable range and talent. - SourNote2014
He's Maurizio and Bubonic from 'Wunschpunsch', Zephir from 'Babar', Rotten Ralph, Speedy Cerviche from 'Samurai Pizza Cats' and Gwizdo and Hector from 'Dragon Hunters'. - SourNote2014
Tony Jay has made the voice of characters such as Frollo, Shere Khan, Magic Mirror, Lord Dregg, Megabyte, Monsieur D'Arque plus he also plays many characters in the Marvel and the DC Universe such as Galactus and has roles in many video games. He played the Elder God in the Kain Series and Magneto in X-Men Legends, not to mention he voices many other characters and has narrated many programms. MY VOTE GOES FOR HIM!
1 of the best actors ever. - girlcool
He also did the voice of Alpha 5 from Power Rangers
He's awesome! He did the voice of Invader Zim and Billy from Billy and Mandy
Zim Billy, and Dagget!
YES! I AM ZIM! (and Billy, and Dr. Chipotle Sr. and Jr. - Lasvegasxavier
26th - A joke. By far the greatest. The nuance, understanding, character and intelligence he brings to every role is outstanding.
He does Burns and Smithers together in one take; that's impressive enough. He also does Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner, Reverend Lovejoy, Kent Brockman, Dr Hibbert, Scratchy, and many others. - Gg2000
Smithers, Dr. Hibbert and Kent Brockman among others.
I love hearing him on The Simpsons! He's so awesome!
He was also great on Saturday Night Live, This Is Spinal Tap, and Wayne's World 2.
Family Guy and Robot Chicken
Robot Chicken Rocks! - Fireboy
Michael Townley aka Michael De Santa
It's amazing how identical Ned Luke really is to Michael Townley/De Santa Same goes for Steven Ogg and Trevor Phillips.
This untalented guy is above June Foray. Stab me. - 445956
Best known for her distinctive African-American voice. -
Did Chloe in "Sabrina the Animated Series". Is close friends with Melissa Joan Hart and her sister, Emily Hart. - monsterhigh200
The female Mel Blanc!
17? She deserves and has earned better than this.
Was stupid Tara Strong the female Mel Blanc in Looney Toons? HELL, NO! That would be June Foray. This is someone who I'm very surprised to see at the very bottom.
Grant Palmer above this? You voters have failed in life - 445956
RIP - girlcool
Voiced 3/4 of the female characters for the first two seasons of South Park and for South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. - CommentandList
She was such a great voice actress, and I think she was a better Timmy Turner. RIP Mrs. Bergman
RIP Ms. Bergman :,(
How you died was so tragic. If you were still alive, you would've been in so much more stuff. You had an amazing vocal range on South Park, did a great job doing Jessie's yodeling in Toy Story 2, and was, in my opinion, a better voice for Timmy Turner. You totally deserve to be above that bitchyTara Strong, because you have so much more talent. It's a shame you're not around anymore. We'll miss you.
He deserves a lot more recognition. Even if you don't know who he is or what roles he plays, you've heard his voice several times. It doesn't matter if you watch Disney, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network. His handiwork is everywhere. - Gg2000
Funny how in two cartoons he voiced talking fish: american dad and spongebob
He makes the best animal sounds ever!
He also did parrot sounds in SOFIA THE FIRST. - shelleyduvallfan10
This man is just hilarious!
He isn't a professional voice actor - 445956
He's not only a good celebrity impressionist (in fact, so good that in 1961 Bert Lahr threatened to sue), but he had a profound emotional honesty in his acting, as shown in '90 Day Wondering' and 'One Cab's Family', and he was creative with his characterisation, as shown by his performance as Mr. Jinks. - SourNote2014
Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, and various Hannah-Barbera characters. This guy should be Number 2, right under Mel Blanc, another awesome voice actor.
In addition to Hanna-Barbera characters, he did a ton of characters for Fractured Fairy Tales and Aesop and Son (both of which I thought were way funnier than the Hanna-Barbera characters) from the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. EASILY gets my vote for 2nd only to Mel Blanc!
He's all the way down here, and Tara Strong is ALL THE WAY ABOVE HIM! This guy was the Mel Blanc of Hanna-Barbera cartoons! He had a lot more effort than she does!
He was cool as Franklin Clinton
Considering he voiced Raphael on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Carl Wheezer on Jimmy Neutron, Fowlmouth and Arnold on Tiny Toons, Pinky on Pinky and the Brain, and his most notable role... Yakko from Animaniacs, one has to wonder why Rob Paulsen is so beloved among the voice acting fans and workers. - c0mf0rta61ynum6
Rob is awesome! One of my most favorite voice artists (next to Mel Blanc, Daws Butler, Don Messick, June Foray, Tress MacNeille, Jim Henson, Bill Farmer, Frank Oz, Kath Souice, Dan Castellaneta, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt, Jim Cummings, Frank Welker, Jess Harnell, Charlie Adler, Dave Goelz, Pamela Adlon, and many more)!
My most favorite roles of his are Yakko Warner, Pinky, Carl Wheezer, Dr. Scratchnsniff, Fowlmouth, Silverbeak, Raphael, and Donatello.
He certainly deserves to be on the top 10 spot!
You just named all the characters in that he voices which is the reason he is beloved among voice acting fans and workers. He is a great voice actor. Not the greatest but certainly not the worst. - mrcoolface
Now THIS is what you call a voice actor. - 445956
YODA... Come on, people. How could you leave Yoda off this list? And Miss Piggy? And Animal?
He's the best muppet performer of all time! He should be above Tara Strong, because he has so many better voices than her.
The man was on The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Star Wars, Monsters Inc., and Inside Out. Need I say more?
Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Animal, Sam the Eagle, The Snowths, Bert, Grover, Cookie Monster, Yoda, and Fungus from Monsters Inc.
He has an amazing amount of range. - SourNote2014
This guy is not a voice actor - 445956
The ORIGINAL voice of Scooby-Doo!
He is often remembered in DuckTales (as Scrooge McDuck's dad), Bonkers (as the mayor of Toontown) and a few more including Pound Puppies, Stair Fairies, ABC Weekend Specials (alongside Melissa Joan Hart) and Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue (as Papa Smurf who discovered that Michael had secretly stolen Corey's piggy bank from her bedroom and finds out that he is doing drugs). Great voice actor. Mr. Messick will be missed. by the way, I rented Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue for free at a local video store.
Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue won a primetime Emmy for best cartoon
Voices by Jason Marsden (as Michael), Don Messick (as Papa Smurf) and George C. Scott (as Smoke) - shelleyduvallfan10
Scooby-Doo, Boo Boo Bear, Ranger Smith, Hamton J. Pig, Papa Smurf, and Muttley
I will always remember him as Scooby-Doo, Boo Boo Bear, Ranger Smith, Hamton J. Pig, Muttley, Papa Smurf, Astro, Ratchet, Zorak, Clunk, Zilly, Professor Pat Pending, and Droopy. RIP Don.
Not only the creator of the Muppets, but also the original voices of Kermit the Frog and Ernie.
Just like how Wayne Allwine will always be the true voice of Mickey Mouse, Jim Henson will always be the true voice of Kermit the Frog.
Jim Henson should TOTALLY be above Tara Strong. She wasn't the one who created both The Muppets and Sesame Street.
Kermit the Frog, Rowlf, Dr. Teeth, The Swedish Chef, Waldorf, Link Higthrob, The Newsman, Mahna Mahna, Ernie, Guy Smiley, Cantus the Minstril, and Convincing John.
He voices Kyle from South Park - jezza0
There is so much better - 445956
Fiona from the Shrek films - jezza0
Kronk in Emperor's New Groove, Titan in Space Chimps - fearundercontrol
He should be number 1! He has the most awesome voice ever!
The manliest voice ever he should be number 1
His place on this list scares me - ChefSkinner
' I'm greedy as hell, only out for myself. She said it would be the death of me...'
He voiced Pain from Naruto
Kanji Tatsumi, Excalibur(Soul Eater), Various characters from Scooby-Doo, Dragon Ball, Clarence, Regular Show, and a million other shows, movies, and animes!
He's got excellent range, as shown in "Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip", where he puts on a few different voices Mickey uses to disguise himself. - SourNote2014
Walt not only created Micky Mouse he also provide the voice for him.
He should be number 1 or 2 after Mel blanc
Minnie and Mickey
Here are some random Patrick quotes:
"Did you see my underwear? "
"I DEFY YOU HEART MAN! "
"Where's the leak ma'am? "
"I love you."
"Once there was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The end! "
