Top Ten Voice Actors

The Top Ten

1 Mel Blanc

Are you serious? He's Not here? He voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Woody Woodpecker, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin The Martian, Elmer Fudd, Coyote, Barney Rubble, Dino (Flinstones) Tweety Bird, Henery Hawk, Captain Caveman, Taz (Looney Tunes), Speedy Gonzalez and Many Many More! He's the greatest Voice Actor of All Time and you're telling me you people think that Patrick Warburton, an actor who uses the same voice like 10 times for 10 different characters is better than him? I don't think so. - JasperB

HE started my love of VAing. I think he is a legend for his flexibility. Even if he voiced various characters in the same ep of Loney Tunes, and you can notice, it didn't matter. You were entertained, and that was important. That is what made many cartoons.

Why isn't this man number one? Seth Macfarlane above Blanc!?!? It really irks me that MacFarlane is extremely overrated. Yeah he voiced quite a few family guy characters and a couple American Dad characters. SO WHAT! That does not even compare to the many voices of Mel Blanc!

Mel Blanc is the OG Legit Voice Actor. Amazing guy and a pioneer in the biz. - tacolover

2 Frank Welker

Frank walker is the best voice actor ever he has been in the most voice acting roles then anybody he is one of the greatest ever

Thank You Frank for making my childhood a great one

Best voice actor for the past 30 years. Both animal and human.

Should be number one he did voices in countless movies and cartoons. - egnomac

Why is that Seth dude any better than this guy? The voice of Lincoln Loud is apparently better than Jim Cummings? I should just leave this list alone because you voters know nothing about voice acting, Tara Strong above him is an even bigger joke. - 445956

3 Tara Strong Tara Strong Tara Strong is a Canadian–American actress who has done work in numerous films and television series, both live-action and animated.

She is so talented and popular, not to mention her personality is kind and generous! She deserves to be this high up, if not higher! My personal favourite of her voices is twilight sparkle from my little pony friendship is magic! Keep going Tara!

She's voiced Dill Pickles, Twilight Sparkle, Bat Girl, Timmy Turner, Ben 10, and TONS more voice acting, both background and straight up. She's one of the best voice actors of this decade!

So this overrated woman is above June Foray, Jess Harnell, Rob Paulsen, Tom Kenny, Frank Welker, Kevin Michael Richardson, Keith Ferguson, Jim Cummings, John DiMaggio, Grey Delisle, Dee Bradley Baker, Harry Shearer, Dan Castalanetta, Hank Azaria, Mark Hamill-OH WHY SHOULD I BOTHER - 445956

Great voice actor. Just overrated.

4 Tom Kenny Tom Kenny Thomas James Kenny is an American actor and comedian known for his long-running role as the title character in the SpongeBob SquarePants TV series and films. Kenny has voiced many other characters including Heffer Wolfe in Rocko's Modern Life, the Ice King in Adventure Time, the Mayor in The Powerpuff more.

Tom Kenny is Patchy the Pirate, Sponge bob Square Pants, and MORE stuff! I have no idea why HE is number 16! You People are just so bitchy! And some dumb asses to! Please go get your Brain CHECKED if you DON'T think he deserves to be #1

Tom Kenny Grey DeLisle & John DiMaggio are by far the best voice actors ever & need to be at the top of this list. The people st the top of list only did 1 or 2 voice over's these people are legends. GO TOM!

And The French Narrator on SpongeBob that says 2 hours later and the narrator on the powerpuff girls and the mayor of the powerpuff girls

I was thinking about saying Tara Storng because these are my favorite but this guy is Spongebob and has been in great Cartoon Network shows, in my opinion he is the best

6 Seth Mcfarlane

Sexy, gorgeous voice, amazing singer, voiced Brian, Peter, and Stewie Griffin. Quagmire, Tom Tucker, Roger the Alien, Stan Smith, and tim the Bear. Not to mention random appearances on Robot Chicken - MoldySock

Stop being mean to this guy! He may not be the best, but at least he puts effort into his voices and he seems like a nice person! This seems more like someone who overhated than someone who is overrated.

He's the best, good actor, good characters, good singing, good dancing and good looking what's not to love he looks so young for his age

Above Frank Welker. Screw the vote. - 445956

7 Mark Hamill Mark Hamill Mark Richard Hamill is an American actor and voice actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy – Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi and his portrayal of the Joker in Batman: the Animated Series.

This guy may not have been much of a voice actor, but he did have a great voice in general - CommentandList

He's the best Joker ever! I didn't even know it was him!

Ok, after this man played luke skywalker (not voice acting) he went on to play THE most recognizable, THE most famous and, might I say, THE best super villains of all time. He not only played the joker, he BECAME the joker. On the spur of the moment he can slip into character. And when he slips into character he doesn't bring him to life, no no, he TRANSFORMS into the joker. Has anyone seen this man as he works, slap makeup on that poor fellow and put HIM in the next reboot of batman- as the joker of course.

Can you imagine Luke Skywalker voicing The Joker? He's awesome! - TheFourthWorld

Bender, Jake the Dog, countless video games.

He also voice joker in batman under the red hood

11 Grey DeLisle Grey DeLisle Erin Grey Van Oosbree, credited as Grey DeLisle and Grey Griffin, is an American voice actress and singer-songwriter.

She deserves to be on this list more than anyone. She's practically voiced 100 characters every year. She can voice any character and make is probably offered a character in every good animated show.
She's been Azula, Vicky the babysitter, Catwoman, and thousands of others.

She may not be the best, but she sure does put in more effort than Tara "the Twat" Strong.

Frankie From Fosters

She actually has more range than Tara - 445956

14 Jim Cummings Jim Cummings

Jim Cummings is not even in the top ten? Have you guys seen his resume? He has voiced Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck, Scar from The Lion King, Peg Leg Pete, Negaduck, Ray the firefly, Steele from Balto, and many, many more. He's got a very wide range of voices and deserves to be in the top twenty because of that. Heck, he deserves to be in the top ten. Much more so than voice actors who use the same voice over and over again, like James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman (both of which are great actors might I add).

He's got a pretty large filmography, and can do some good voices.

Winnie the Pooh AND Tigger too -

Jim ABSOLUTELY should be in the top 10. His range is amazing and has been a STAPLE of cartoons for the past 30 years

16 Clarence Nash

He actually created Donald Ducks voice! While making other sounds on the farm. Walt Disney created Donald after hearing Nash do the voice on the radio, then had him do the voice in a private audition. After that, he made many animal vocals for movies and cartoons in more than just Donald Duck. He did the original meows for Tom (from Tom and Jerry), the low raspy voice for the rough house statue guy in "Pinocchio," a croaky voice for a frog in "Bambi," barking sounds for dogs in "101 Dalmations," and more meows, along with horse neighs, crows, and most of all, bird tweets, most noticably in "Cinderella" and a lot of other Disney shorts and movies. His last unique animal role (other than Donald) was a bear in "The Fox and the Hound," now you should recognize that sound, he's used it in many many other shorts and I even heard it in a "Family Guy" episode. How I know all of this is from Disney wikia and an episode of the original "Disneyland" television series, "A day in the life of ...more

He was so amazing. 50 years! He played Donald Duck, and Disney animal noises.

He was (in my opinion ) the Mel Blanc of Disney.

When he was auditioning he was doing the "nervous goat" voice, but Disney must've thought he did a duck voice.

18 Jim Henson Jim Henson James Maury "Jim" Henson was an American puppeteer, artist, cartoonist, inventor, screenwriter, and filmmaker who achieved international fame as the creator of the Muppets.

Not only the creator of the Muppets, but also the original voices of Kermit the Frog and Ernie.

Just like how Wayne Allwine will always be the true voice of Mickey Mouse, Jim Henson will always be the true voice of Kermit the Frog.

Jim Henson should TOTALLY be above Tara Strong. She wasn't the one who created both The Muppets and Sesame Street.

Kermit the Frog, Rowlf, Dr. Teeth, The Swedish Chef, Waldorf, Link Higthrob, The Newsman, Mahna Mahna, Ernie, Guy Smiley, Cantus the Minstril, and Convincing John.

19 Dee Bradley Baker Dee Bradley Baker Dee Bradley Baker is an American voice actor. His major roles, many of which feature his vocalizations of animals, include animated series such as American Dad!, Codename: Kids Next Door, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Ben 10, and The 7D, live-action series more.

22 Rob Paulsen Rob Paulsen Robert Fredrick Paulsen III is an American voice actor and singer who has done many voice roles in various films, television shows, and video games.

Considering he voiced Raphael on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Carl Wheezer on Jimmy Neutron, Fowlmouth and Arnold on Tiny Toons, Pinky on Pinky and the Brain, and his most notable role... Yakko from Animaniacs, one has to wonder why Rob Paulsen is so beloved among the voice acting fans and workers. - c0mf0rta61ynum6

Rob is awesome! One of my most favorite voice artists (next to Mel Blanc, Daws Butler, Don Messick, June Foray, Tress MacNeille, Jim Henson, Bill Farmer, Frank Oz, Kath Souice, Dan Castellaneta, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt, Jim Cummings, Frank Welker, Jess Harnell, Charlie Adler, Dave Goelz, Pamela Adlon, and many more)!

My most favorite roles of his are Yakko Warner, Pinky, Carl Wheezer, Dr. Scratchnsniff, Fowlmouth, Silverbeak, Raphael, and Donatello.

He certainly deserves to be on the top 10 spot!

You just named all the characters in that he voices which is the reason he is beloved among voice acting fans and workers. He is a great voice actor. Not the greatest but certainly not the worst. - mrcoolface

How you died was so tragic. If you were still alive, you would've been in so much more stuff.
