Top 10 Worst Cartoons of All Time

Here we list the WORST cartoons EVER AIRED! It was a waste of time and money to make these horrendous cartoons! Consider yourself lucky if you haven't seen these shows.
The Top Ten
1 Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon

How does this atrocious piece of media rank below any of these shows? Dora may have zero substance, but I believe there is an argument to be made that even Dora can have its moments. This show cannot. It is the most offensive thing I have ever seen, much worse than Family Guy. At least Family Guy (the only adult show on here to compare it to) has good episodes, an example being the Road to series. But I cannot name an episode from this series that is bearable.

Not only that, but it was based off of a rather good children's cartoon. CHILDREN. Imagine a child seeing Ren and Stimpy pop up on their television screen and, without a second's notice, going to watch it. Now imagine them seeing Ren, a character from a show that was originally for KIDS, torturing a frog to death and making Stimpy sob hysterically because of the abuse that Ren dealt to him.

This show could literally scar a child, and probably has.

Easily the worst thing I have ever seen.

2 Breadwinners Breadwinners is an American animated television series created by Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele and Steve Borst for Nickelodeon.

The series was originally conceived as an animated short from DiRaffaele's efficiency apartment in Studio City, Los Angeles along with Borst. The two had previously met... read more

Why is South Park ranked #6 while this piece of trash is at #119? This disparity makes me want to leave Earth for good and never come back. South Park is genuinely funny, incredibly clever, and by far the superior show.

On the other hand, Breadwinners is abysmal in every category. It has zero redeeming qualities. This so-called "cartoon" centers around two ducks delivering bread. Doesn't sound too bad, right? Well, it gets worse. Every episode features fart jokes and butts! That's it! Before all you Nickelodeon fanboys rage at me, I have seen an episode. I changed the channel immediately afterward, and it nearly made me vomit. Even my friend, who enjoys the show Sanjay & Craig, says this show is horrible. This is as low as a cartoon can get. It only gets laughs from first graders who find fart jokes amusing. Sure, South Park does it, but at least they don't include them in every single episode. This will get no laughs, not even from second graders who love farts and butts.

Bottom Line: -10/10

3 The Problem Solverz The Problem Solverz is an American animated television series that aired on Cartoon Network. Created by Ben Jones, it follows Alfe, Horace, and Roba, a group of detectives in their troubled town, Farboro.

I've never seen The Problem Solvers, but I know that it has ugly animation. The show no longer airs on Cartoon Network, so I don't see it. I start watching this channel at 1:00 PM. It starts with two episodes of Uncle Grandpa, then, at 2:00 PM, there is an endless pattern of Gumball and Teen Titans Go!, interrupted by Clarence. This pattern continues, only to be interrupted again by The Powerpuff Girls (2016). This cycle repeats until 8:00 PM when Adult Swim starts.

You know a cartoon is terrible when the creators aren't smart enough to spell the title correctly. It's spelled solvers, not solverz. Idiots.
Speaking of bad spelling, why do people on the internet use such bad spelling? I know this is completely unrelated, but you're acting like 5-year-olds! You spell wrong as rong and confuse to and too. And a child is telling you this! I can understand this type of behavior if you're bilingual or still a child, but adults too? What kind of example are you setting?
Sorry, I just had to point that out.

4 Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer (2000 - 2019) is an American preschool educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner in which Dora goes on adventures with her friend, a monkey named Boots.

Before anyone brings up the "but it's for little kids" argument, keep in mind that there are other cartoons intended for little kids on Nick Jr. and PBS Kids that were a lot better than Dora the Explorer.

I was 10 years old when Dora premiered, so I was too old to be in its target demographic. However, I still managed to enjoy other little kid shows on Nick Jr., like Blue's Clues and Little Bill. I even still loved FACE, and I mean the original FACE, not the newer obnoxious one they brought in years later.

The point is, if I managed to enjoy those other Nick Jr. shows, then Dora the Explorer had no excuse. Also, many times her Spanish is very inaccurate. It's like Peggy Hill taught her Spanish.

5 Sanjay and Craig Sanjay and Craig is an American animated comedy television series that aired on Nickelodeon from May 25, 2013, to July 29, 2016, for three seasons and 60 episodes. The series is about a 12-year-old boy named Sanjay Patel who owns a talking pet snake named Craig.

This is the grossest, most obnoxious show I've ever seen. All the characters are dumb and just plain weird, but I hate Sanjay and Craig the most. Sanjay is an annoying, obnoxious, and useless character, and his pet snake, Craig, is disgusting and serves no point whatsoever.

The animation is lazy, and the episodes usually revolve around something crazy, gross, or pointless. Most episodes don't even make sense! The gross humor just isn't funny. It's more disgusting than humorous. Sanjay and Craig is definitely one of my least favorite shows.

6 Teen Titans Go! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. The show follows a superhero group called the Teen Titans, and shows what happens when they go home and have silly adventures. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television... read more

Here's the thing: Teen Titans Go has actually had a few decent episodes. Some of them genuinely make me laugh, mostly the older ones. However, a large majority of the show is just flat out gross. The potty humor is way overused, and the morals are horrendous. At least in the 2017 movie, there are some good parts and decent morals in the end, but as for the show itself, there aren't many.

The main characters are almost always unlikable, selfish jerks with no redeeming qualities. Some of the episodes are just repulsive. Examples include the one where everyone thinks Beast Boy has turned into a disgusting mutant-bug creature and everyone vomits throughout the whole episode, the one where Starfire gets a parasite, or the one where everyone turns into "fart zombies." Seriously, what were the writers thinking? Like I said, a few of the older episodes are decent, but this show has overstayed its welcome at this point. It had potential, but the writers ruined it.

7 The Nutshack The Nutshack is an American adult animated sitcom created by Ramon Lopez, and co-created by Jesse Hernandez.

The Vietnamese transgender character, Cherry Pie, could be considered offensive to actual transgender people, as she is portrayed as nothing more than a stereotypical feminine "lady-boy" that makes everyone around her very uncomfortable. The Indian convenience store owner, Sanjee, is also a stereotype, much like Apu from The Simpsons, but worse because there is no charm to him whatsoever. Speaking of Indian stereotypes, this show is offensive to Indian people because they are referred to as "nasty little curry eaters." Rainbow Scout is a stereotypical buff gay man who enjoys anal sex and cannot stop talking about it.

8 Family Guy Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter (Fat, Idiotic Dad) and Lois (Nagging Bitchy Wife), their children Meg (Socially Awkward Daughter) Chris (Fat, Idiotic... read more

What's worse about modern Family Guy is that it's still airing new episodes, and it's mainstream among the adult animation crowd. Even Seth himself is ashamed of what the show has become, and he barely gets involved with the show at all, as shock jokes and bland cutaways have now taken over. Ever since season 10, the animation has also taken a nosedive in quality. It's just animated white noise at this point. Hell, you can look at TV static and try not to imagine rapid movement, followed by a cutaway every now and then.

Seasons 1 to 4 of the show were much better and funnier, as you had Dan Povenmire (the future Phineas and Ferb creator) behind the scenes. It's no Simpsons or South Park, but it had wit, charm, and class, something that's missing in the post-season 9 episodes. It's stuff like this that made fans like me gravitate towards American Dad, Seth's better and more well-written show.

9 Allen Gregory Allen Gregory is an American animated sitcom that aired Sundays at 8:30 pm on Fox from October 30 to December 18, 2011. The series was created by Jonah Hill, Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul.

This cartoon just offended me. Its protagonist is an egotistical 7-year-old who looks down on everyone he sees, including his own sister. Its message is that everyone who is not like Allen Gregory deserves to be put down. Not to mention the way it portrays taboo topics, such as sexual attraction to an elderly woman. It feels like the creators wanted to disgust the viewer as much as possible.

This is one of the worst shows of all time. The only reason it's not #1 is because no one knows it exists. This list shows bias because not everyone has seen all these shows. The show only had seven episodes, and they were all horrible. If everyone rating this saw the show, it would probably be #1. Fortunately, it was so bad that no one knows it exists. Unfortunately, it's because no one knows just how bad it truly is that it's not #1.

10 Caillou Caillou is a Canadian educational children's television series that was first shown on Teletoon (both English and French versions), with its first episode airing on the former channel on September 15, 1997; the show later moved to Treehouse TV, with its final episode being shown on that channel on October... read more

Caillou is a spineless 4-year-old child who does not deserve love, family, compassion, food, or organs. Yes, this is from another review, but it is complete truth. For God's sake, he can't even catch a baseball. He gives up right away. Just like Bob's Burgers, it is marketed for chubby 6-year-olds.

The only people who could possibly ever love this show, or at least the demon child known as Caillou, are fans of Bob's Burgers or kids who don't know any better. There is no character to love, let alone like. This is the problem with today's shows. Shows like Caillou and Bob's Burgers focus on one set of characters, and this overemphasis is what leads us to hate the characters. Even Ted Cruz, in Miss Spider's Sunny Patch, has something to love.

The Contenders
11 Johnny Test Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, for the first season, and Cookie Jar, for the remainder of the series. It aired from September 17, 2005 to December 25, 2014 on Kids' WB and Cartoon Network in the United States and on Teletoon in Canada... read more

Why is Phineas and Ferb ranked above this? Phineas and Ferb is at least not a rip-off of Dexter's Lab.

Johnny Test is what happens when Dee Dee is given her own show and is a boy. Johnny is a selfish jerk who does whatever he wants and breaks into his sisters' lab. His sisters are selfish and boring, having half the personality that a normal cartoon character has. The characters are all jerks, and the show is always blasting guitar riffs. The show's humor is terrible, and almost every episode is a rip-off. None of the episodes are original. The show doesn't even try to be original and is ripping off classic cartoons like Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo.

The villains are generic parodies (like Mr. Freeze and Darth Vader) that aren't funny, and the show's plots are predictable.

12 Mr. Pickles Mr. Pickles is an American animated television series created by Will Carsola and Dave Stewart for Adult Swim. The series revolves around the Goodman family, especially their 6-year-old son named Tommy and the family's border collie, the demonic Mr. Pickles. The series was picked up for 10 quarter-hour... read more

Don't get me wrong, I love animals, especially dogs and cats. One of my favorite dog breeds is definitely the Border Collie. So, when I first heard of this cartoon, I thought, "A satanic Border Collie? That's so awesome! What's he going to do, fight off abusive owners with demonic powers?" Then I saw the first episode and I was wrong. It's pretty much one of those "we're going to show you a lot of shock humor and sex jokes" kind of adult cartoons, which ruins the potential it's aiming for.

I liked most of the backgrounds, but only when the nice country backdrops are shown and not the blood-filled hellscapes. And the animation, oh God. This cartoon is almost like what the emo/metalhead kid in your high school drew in his notebooks, in animation form.

13 Uncle Grandpa Uncle Grandpa is an American animated television series created by Peter Browngardt for Cartoon Network that premiered on the network on September 2, 2013. The series is based on Browngardt's animated short of the same name from The Cartoonstitute.

It's disappointing to see one of the writers responsible for many episodes of the SpongeBob series move on to this show. Casey Alexander wasn't the best writer on SpongeBob by any means, but he was certainly better than some of the others. It's a shame to see how poor this new show is.

I see some sort of relationship between Patrick Star and Uncle Grandpa. They're both unintelligent and have similarly obnoxious voices. However, having an entire show with the main character being that annoying, along with secondary characters that make absolutely no sense, is hard to stomach. Characters like Pizza Steve and the tiger, who doesn't say anything but growls and mimics Nyan Cat, are especially perplexing. I've only watched a few episodes of the series, but from what I've seen, it's clear that Uncle Grandpa is a huge flop.

14 Almost Naked Animals Almost Naked Animals is a Canadian animated television series that is produced for YTV. The series premiered on January 7, 2011 on YTV.

The title alone is unappealing and nasty. The animal characters appear to look like they're shaved and only wear underwear. Speaking of the characters, they all look ugly and uncanny. Some animal characters who don't have fur or feathers, like Octo and Narwhal, would presumably have their skin peeled from the shaving instead. The gross-out humor is just not funny at all. The theme song is really annoying and repetitive. Even the background music is annoying too. The animation is mediocre. Howie's smile just looks hideous to look at. The designs of every episode's title card are very creepy and uncanny. The characters are very unlikable, especially Howie. Also, the voice acting is bland.

15 Mega Babies Mega Babies is a Canadian animated series created by the Tremblay brothers, Christian and Yvon, who previously had made the H-B's show SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron.

How is this not worse than Caillou? Yes, Caillou is awful, but at least it has some redeeming qualities… unlike whatever this is.

Also, one of the voices for Caillou also voiced one of the babies, and she died in a car crash. May she rest in peace.

The fact that My Little Pony is rated above this baffles me. This cartoon is disgusting, the animation is terrible, and the characters are annoying. Imagine Ren and Stimpy, Rugrats, and Powerpuff Girls all thrown into a blender. The result would be this.

Wrong. Ren and Stimpy is toilet humor. Now, mix that toilet humor into Rugrats, a cartoon about babies, and add Powerpuff Girls, three young girls with superpowers. Mega Babies are babies with superpowers that feature toilet humor.

16 12 oz. Mouse 12 oz. Mouse is an American surreal humour and psychological thriller adult animated television series created by Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late-night programming block, Adult Swim. The series revolves around Mouse Fitzgerald, nicknamed "Fitz" (voiced by Maiellaro), an alcoholic mouse who... read more

I swear, a 5-year-old could make a better show. Do you remember when you were younger and you would turn on the computer just to go on MS Paint? I think the developers are too nostalgic for those moments, seriously. They talk like they're drunk and learning to speak, and the "animations" are just pictures they drew in MS Paint.

The animation of 12 oz. Mouse looks like the first few animals I ever drew that weren't just a scribble of lines in different colors. Adult Swim hosts amazing content like Rick and Morty and the Toonami reboot. This will be one of the worst shows on Adult Swim for years to come.

17 Phineas and Ferb Phineas and Ferb is an American animated comedy-musical television series. Originally broadcast as a one-episode preview on August 17, 2007 and again previewed on September 28, 2007, the series officially premiered on February 1, 2008 and ended on June 12, 2015 on Disney Channel, and follows Phineas... read more

I will admit, I liked this show a lot at the beginning. But lately, they've run out of ideas. It was creative at first - building a roller coaster, searching for Atlantis, making a haunted house, and lots of other stuff. But now they've gone on spaceships five times, among other things, like making a house of cheese. Also, there aren't even 104 days of summer. Furthermore, there have been like 200 episodes, so that's over 104 days.

The only good part of the show is Perry and Doofenshmirtz. But even they are running out of ideas. They should just stop the series. And the catchphrases get tiring after so many episodes.

18 Go, Diego, Go! Go, Diego, Go! is an American animated educational interactive children's television program that originally aired on the Nickelodeon children's cable network in the United States and produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio .

I have an anti-fan fiction of Diego.

After the last episode of Diego, he gets a call from businessmen. They want to build a 200-lane freeway and a metropolis on all of South America. Diego accepts. Later, Diego is getting chased by animals because he accepted the deal. They surround him. The last sign of Diego was a yell that was 19,999 hertz loud, which is almost outside the human hearing threshold.

Diego is pretty much like Dora. It's the same thing every episode. I've noticed the Bobo Bros. are rip-offs of Swiper, only they are less stealing-oriented.

19 King Star King King Star King is an American animated web series created by JJ Villard and Eric Kaplan for Adult Swim. The series aired on the network's online video streaming service Adult Swim Video on June 15, 2014.

This is just a completely ugly cartoon. The characters look like they're melting in front of your eyes and are completely uninteresting. The colors clash with each other, the plot makes no sense, and the animation is choppy. I guarantee this will make you sick.

How is this not higher on the list? The animation is ugly as heck. I can barely tell what's going on most of the time, and it makes no sense whatsoever. Avoid at all costs. Trust me, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.

I am being totally sincere when I say "Sofia the First" is more mature than this show.

20 Secret Mountain Fort Awesome Secret Mountain Fort Awesome is an American animated television series created by Peter Browngardt that debuted in 2011 on Cartoon Network. The show revolves around a fraternity of five monsters who unleash wild stunts upon the public from their eponymous mountain fort. The show is loosely based on... read more

Hey kids, do you like looking at unattractive images? Do you like animation that looks like it was taken out of a very ugly search-and-find book? Do you like characters who are made out of butts, snot, and wear nothing but underwear? Are bright and contrasting colors your thing? Well, we have the show for you! The charts show that gross-out humor is absolutely hip and with it! And no plot at all can compete with the likes of Adventure Time and Gravity Falls. Our humor is all gross-out, and we try our best to make the most unattractive things look even uglier! We know this is nothing but a pile of garbage, but you don't care about that. No effort means money! Lots and lots of money! So buy our stuff!

21 The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican

This is the embodiment of all laziness. I'm serious. At least with 12 oz Mouse, you'd know what was going on some of the time. I don't see any effort in this pathetic 1950s excuse for a cartoon. The voice acting is lazy and it's done by one person. It looks like it had a 2-cent budget.

The animation had no effort put into it. The lip-syncing is truly awful and the lighting is messed up. The episodes make no sense at all. The movements of the characters are the same copy-paste movements you'll see throughout the entire cartoon. Plus, I don't want to hear that nonsense about this being a 1950s cartoon. Fantasia was made before this. By all means, do not watch this. I actually wonder why this isn't in the top 10 worst cartoons ever. I can easily consider this the most unnaturally lazy cartoon ever created.

22 The Brothers Grunt The Brothers Grunt is a Canadian-American animated comedy television series by Ed, Edd n Eddy creator Danny Antonucci that originally aired from August 15, 1994 to April 9, 1995 on MTV.

Honestly, I've never seen this show before, but I have seen the animation online and, honestly, I'm not going to watch the show because of how hideous the animation is.

Thank God I never watched this show! Ugh! I hate this show with a burning passion, along with Pig Goat Banana Cricket!

Eww, what are these people in the picture? They look as terrifying as Smart Talking With Raisin, the prototype of Courage the Cowardly Dog!

23 Peppa Pig Peppa Pig is a British preschool animated television series directed and produced by Astley Baker Davies in association with Entertainment One, which originally aired on 31 May 2004. It went on a hiatus for just over two years before re-premiering on 14 February 2015.

I have to put up with this awful show every time I visit my baby sister-in-law. Everyone looks like a potato head with Peter Griffin bodies and paintbrush limbs. The animation style seems inspired by a 5-year-old or something else stupid. This show should be called "How to Ruin Your Shoes, Fat Shame People, Pretend You Are Old, and Bully Your Little Brother."

Animators must have thought, "I know! Let's get a red plastic bowl, flip it upside down, stick a whistle on top with pink paint, and put googly eyes on it. Then let's put paintbrushes on it and make it 2D because we're lazy and we don't care how bad this show is! And let's call Google to make it trending on YouTube to burn people's eyes out!"

24 Pickle and Peanut Pickle and Peanut is an American animated television series that premiered on Disney XD on September 7, 2015. The series was created by Noah Z. Jones, creator of Fish Hooks and Almost Naked Animals.

This is the worst Disney show I've ever seen, and it's the perfect foreshadowing for one of the worst animated series ever. The theme song is lazy. It has no music and is literally just random words. The art style is awful. The main characters are just photoshopped images.

The trend in modern cartoons needs to end! The characters are not lovable. You'll want to punch them. The main characters are barely drawn. They're literally stock images. In one episode, Pickle gets a pimple on his butt. The show has nonstop butt jokes. Is this Disney? It is, but in an alternate dimension! Disney should be embarrassed for greenlighting this trash. They are known for The Lion King, for crying out loud. What happened to the Toon Disney shows? They were awesome. Avoid this show at all costs. If you find a DVD of it, destroy it and don't show it to your kids. Stay away!

25 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The show follows a studious unicorn (later an alicorn) pony named Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rarity (Tabitha... read more

It's a show that has everything a stereotypical girl show contains. It talks about friendship and all that crap. The voices are awful. Everyone sounds like they were voice-acted by two people. The animation isn't bad. In fact, it's one of the better Flash animations I've seen. However, it hurts to say this since I adore Lauren Faust's works, but the art style is ugly. The backgrounds look like they were drawn by a 12-year-old who watches way too many bad anime. I couldn't care less about the music department. It's bland. It uses too many media references like video games and nerd flicks for me to enjoy. I get that some writers like those kinds of things. Overall, it's just another show. Do I like it? Obviously not. Do I hate it? Not as much as I hate Lucky Star. I don't really enjoy it because this kind of stuff is not my taste.
