Top Ten TV/Movies With the Worst Endings

The Top Ten

1 Gravity Falls Gravity Falls is an American animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation that first aired on Disney Channel, and then on Disney XD from June 15, 2012 to February 15, 2016. The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel in the fictional town of Gravity more.

It was forced. Stanley should have never regained his memories-I know Alex doesn't believe in sugarcoats, so he should have kept it that way.
The wheel served no importance in the show. And why those specific people could band together against Bill is so random and obscure.
There's no way ever that they could build a house robot before Bill either killed them all or sufficiently tortured Stanford into giving him the equation.

This ending was rushed, underwhelming, and yet, I still cried. It just fell short of the brilliance I've grown used to. - keycha1n

Actually, it was relieving to have Stan's memory regained, if that didn't happen, then the show would've been turned into a train wreck, It's so sad to see Disney's final good show die in the grave, Disney is now dead and impossible to go on. - nelsonerica

I cried throughout the whole episode. I spent 3 months waiting for THIS?! It was just too depressing, not what I would expect for a Gravity Falls episode. Also I HATED what they did to Pacifica. I thought she changed! Not cool, dude. All in all the finale felt rushed, cliche, depressing, and it had an overused plot. I mean, a giant robot? A baby could think of a better plot than that! And worst of all, it's my absolute FAVORITE show of all time! Why, Hirsch, why?!

God, the fans are so ungrateful and annoying. The finale was great, who cares about seeing their parents

I had to say this. We never found out Dipper's REAL name, they left Gravity falls, Dipper didn't do SQUAT in the final episode, we didn't see their parents, and Dipcifica is a no go! Does all the time I spent on my fanfictions mean nothing! The worst part is that it's still my favorite show! I'm still clinging to hope of at least a follow up episode. - dipperpinesfangirl618

2 Twin Peaks

Great show, but the ending sucked, it was good until the ending ruined it.

3 The Titanic

That was such a horrible movie

He died too. -_-' - dipperpinesfangirl618

16 Mockingjay - Part 2

I'm scared to put this but I think it sucks that it ended like that. I mean, it was cute, but I'm still a little disappointed. Primrose and Finnick DIE, Katniss gets banished, and the ending was completely anti-climactic. I mean, it's still my favorite movie franchise, but it ended poorly in my opinion. - dipperpinesfangirl618

You're right. I was like, "They had kids, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?! " - Fandom_Lover

Christ, this ending felt so rushed and anti-climatic to me. The last 15 minutes before the credits is just time-skipping! Katniss shot Coin, Katniss is taken to prison, Haymitch reads a letter to Katniss from Pulcarth who is now president, Katniss leaves, Katniss is on a train, Katniss is back home, Katniss woke up from a nap and hugs the cat, now it's spring, Katniss shot a bird and sees Peeta return, Peeta reads a letter from Annie to Katniss, Katniss and Haymitch and Peeta have dinner while watching T.V., Katniss snuggles with Peeta in bed, years later they have a toddler and baby. BAM! That's what happens the last 15 minutes. - VeronikaHolm

17 Seinfeld Four single friends -- comic Jerry Seinfeld, bungling George Costanza, frustrated working gal Elaine Benes and eccentric neighbor Cosmo Kramer -- deal with the absurdities of everyday life in New York City.

The ending was awful, not very funny, and the characters were acting like idiots.

"The characters were acting like idiots" - which they never did in other episodes? - Billyv

Such an unfunny ending of such a funny show.

Honestly, I don't even understand why this isn't here. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this show. I 100% recommend this show to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It's funny, emotional, and very well-written, especially with the character development and most of the plots in each episode. However, this is definitely the WORST T.V. show ending I've ever seen.***(SPOILER ALERT FROM HERE ON IN)*** Now, in the beginning of the show, it's been established that Ted and Robin will never work. They tried it twice, and no matter what Ted and/or Robin do, they won't work. So, once the writers reached the end of the show, I have no idea what happened. Suddenly, the writers became very lazy, so they decided to just kill off the mother, divorce Robin and Barney (A wedding ceremony I might add took place for basically an ENTIRE season), and go for the cheap happy ending where Ted and Robin ends up together. Now, I would be fine if Ted and Robin did end up together (Honestly, How I Met Your Mother deserves a ...more

I loved the show up until the last few episodes. Why? Why completely destroy a show and all it was leading up to with a crap ending like that? - NerdBunny

Such an anticlimactic finale, it was a finale, but it was anticlimactic, as said from some, Emma just threw Daniel away into the forested dump where he will disintegrate forever, he was ok being at his typical place, but Emma just threw him away, not even a good sacrifice or any sacrifice, yet wiping her friend's and his memories away was even worse, and not only that, that last kiss from the adults seemed forced and abusive, which was so gross, one of those good shows that ended with a bad finale.

This show could've ended better and have a great twist, but all that happened was that Emma, the main character, "sacrificed" Daniel, He learned that he was ok with being where he usually was, but instead, Emma rejected him, they could've gotten married at the end, but she threw him away, and wiped everyone elses memories, Yet later, Ursula, Maddie's mom, chewed on Francisco's (Emma's dad) mouth as if she tried to sexually harass him, That was so gross and disgusting, Bad finale of a decent Nickelodeon show, we hope the spinoff doesn't have a bad finale, but it might.
